We were at Disney when they announced the closure and had to cut our trip short. We failed to pick up a box of beignets before heading back to Vegas but I found some on Amazon. So anyone looking to try them, Amazon had some. Thanks for sharing, we are going to make them now.

Knott's announced they will be closed till mid May. I don't see Disney opening mid April. It wouldn't make since to have schools closed and D-Land open. It would defeat the purpose.

Loved this video! Just ordered my beignets box on Amazon! Gonna take out my Mickey cookie cutter and paper bags and surprise my kiddos this weekend! They are gonna love it! I made those same Beignets, but instead of cutting them into squares I used my Mickey Mouse cookie cutter. It worked great and they looked just like the ones at the park.

The reason why Ralph Brennan's beignets taste better is because they are not pumping out the same volume as Mint Julep Cafe. Cooking time isn't as thorough due to amount of volume served.

California is one of the main hot spots as far as this virus goes, and the state hasn't even reached the peak of the number of cases of COVID-19 yet, so it's really better for people if the theme parks stay closed for a long while. It's going to cripple Disney, though. They are losing sooooo much theme park revenue. They've never suffered a loss such as this before. Plus, they have had to shut down all of their TV series and movies in production and post-production. Even things that were finished filming -- like Season 2 of "The Mandalorian" -- cannot get their post-production work done until non-essential businesses can open again and more than a couple of people can be in the same room, so they might not have too much new content on Disney+ this year either.

If I could go back I would do 2 times. 1964 because I love the flying saucers, Monsanto house, people mover and the Matterhorn was nothing inside and a stuffed yeti that was dirty way up on the scaffolding. Then I would say 1993 because that’s the first time I went back with my new husband. I hadn’t been back since 1964 when I was 12. We loved the skyway gondolas. We were stuck like 10 minutes over fantasyland.
