I am truly happy about 'finding' this channel a while back, and think it is well worth keeping up with what you have going on. Thanks for what you provide for us all. I will NEVER own another printer that FORCES me to throw away the un-used ink in the MULTI-COLOR ink canisters. One of the primary reasons for the "LEXMARK" printers falling out of favor was their main use of the SINGLE color cartridge. Folks got tired of throwing away the left over inks! Folks, there are a PLETHORA of printers out there that have the individual inks AND the black. And if you are really into SAVING money on ink, most all companies selling printers have what are called TANK printers. You just re-fill the ink tanks as needed!✨🤗✨

It's great that it actually can print double sided. I had some early inkjets that could technically print double sided but they would print all the even sides first then you had to manually flip over the stack of paper and it would do the odd sides. Slow and a disaster if you had a paper feed issue half way through the job. I also was able to buy bulk ink refill bottles and refill the 3 color tri color cartridges my old 990 used. I could usually get 3 to 5 refills before the cart went bad and usually the quality was the same as the original ink. The black carts were much harder to refill so I would buy rebuilt ones when they ran out, same for the color but OEM carts tended to be able to be refilled longer before they went bad.

At the moment I own a CANON PIXMA MG 3620. The main reason for getting this product was to make borderless photos. It did well at first but later on, the pics began to streak. I followed the manual on how to fix this but wasn't working. So, I went to Walmart to purchase 3rd party ink cartridges and that made the prints look purplish. I'm going to purchase the CANON cartridges and see if it works. If not I'm going to get the HP Envy. I should have read the comments before buying the CANON, most of them were negative, not so with the HP.

Hey thanks for the review and information, it helps me a lot - However I do notice that there are some fundamental issues with the test itself that may limit the performance of the printing results, and thus affecting the usefulness of the test result. One is the resolution of the original picture was not specified - And it appears to me that many of these pictures has a wide range of different resolutions and color ranges, thus making the horizontal comparison impossible with another printer test. Also the resolution looks lacking to begin with, for some of the pictures printed (e.g. the one at 6:40). You can see obvious none-linear borders and pixels because of the low resolution of the original picture. I'd love to see a print that has a decent picture to begin with, since you can't print a A4 paper nicely with a 1200x800 picture

The pictures do look great. My question would be if I wanted to print two 5x7s is that something that the app can do with the regular piece of the photo paper. Or maybe one sheet of wallets? Or do I need a special program from the App Store to be able to arrange photos in that way? Great video thank you

Your video doesn't show how to do it on a PC, I have done all that you said and my pictures only come out as 4×6, can you show on a PC how to make a picture 8×10

You'll need to download the printer driver. I have a recent video I posted about this. You can go into the printer settings and you can adjust the paper size. I'm looking for an all in one for home use where I can print the day to day like anyone else but also print photos from time to time and labels for hobbies. Do you think this printer is a good fit? Some of the reviews on Amazon gave me pause. Do you recommend this printer for that and if not, what are some other options? Thank you so much.

Yes this printer is a good option, but another good option would be a base level Epson ET.

You will definitely need to be using the correct settings if you're gonna be printing borderless. Depending on whether you're using Mac PC, a smart, smart phone, there are specific instructions on how to select the borderless option.

Hey! I've tried to make stickers on glossy paper. I noticed that the black ink does not stick well. If I let it dry for 24 hours, then touch it, I noticed that the black ink sticks to my fingers a bit. When I choose "photo paper" the black ink works fine. But, I prefer the "other glossy paper" option because it produces a more vibrant color but has that blink ink tradeoff I mentioned. Any solutions?

I would just use the photo paper option, unfortunantelty there is nothing else you can do.

Htv? I have two hp envy’s 5000 series and 6000 (6052 e) I have been able to print on htv iron on aka transfer paper. I find lines appear sometimes or bands so I test print first before printing on htv paper.

Hands down by far the worst printer I've owned in my life. Besides the poor print quality and slow print time, I spent more time having to delete and reinstall the drivers, connect and reconnect to internet than I actually printed. Don't even ask for customer service as their chat assistance is USELESS. Save yourself time and frustration and don't buy this pile of dung
