I am in the market for a good but inexpensive printer (can always upgrade later) I am looking to print stickers.. using printable vinyl paper, sticker paper and printable magnet paper.. what are your thoughts on using this printer for that?? I am also looking at the epson eco tank 2800, but currently this Pixma is on sale for $30 less than the eco tank… its been a year since this video, hope you are still around to reply..thanks

I cant get it to scan!! i have tried everything. I hit the SCAN button on hte contol panel and it just gives prompts and I cant find a tutorial on it anywhere? help!!

You may need to download Canon software onto a pc and scan from the pc directly.

I just got this printer. I’ve printed probably10- 12 pages. Why am I so low on ink already? I don’t understand. Everyone says it’s good with ink but that’s not my case?

You are most likely still using the setup ink, which is known to run very low quickly. Mainly because the setup process takes up quite a bit of ink.

Does this print A4 paper? I've read around and all I've found is that it can print the usual U.S. letter and legal, alongside photo paper, cardstock, and the like but was not too sure if it could load in A4 size?

Ink don’t last long, color reproduction is not the best. Using photoshop or Canon PrintEX apps on PC don’t give the same results.

There are a few variables to have in mind when printing, first, you should allow the Photoshop for color management instead of the printer, also you may have a monitor or phone screen that is off and hence is inaccurate. Printing photos is a world apart.

@@ehouli77 Had Canon and Epson printers for decades now and this is the first one that is really off. Use colour calibration on the screen and Photoshop printer profiles but still, not good enough. Again, it’s a low cost printer so you get what you pay for.
