X Smolensk - 415K Damage - World of Warships

Smolensk - Soviet Tier X cruiser.
Developed after World War II, a project of a small light cruiser (MLK 16 x 130) equipped with sixteen dual-purpose guns in four turret mounts intended to counter enemy light ships.
Pros:
its like a tier 10 atlanta only much stronger with very strong shell velocity
will wreck a DD in 2 salvos
Cons:
Very thinly armored - will take citadels from heavy cruisers and battleships regardless of angle

Yeah, likd he wasn't there at all. They were just like :" ah you're shooting at me ? Its fine dude, its fine. When I play in my smolensk and got detected, everyone is shooting at me, even the battleships from the other side of the map.

My thumb rule is if smolensk is spotted it's the priority target treating it as it is a dd

Whenever I see a Smolensk, I focus all my attention on the thing trying to kill it. One of the ships a team often goes out of their way to kill it no matter what the cost.

ive once played against a Smolensk and i was yamato : he was spraying HE from 18 km in a smoke i was getting pissed and shot randomly in it : only to get 3 citadel and a kill : TAKE THAT SMOLENSK

You wrong, AP, smoke, hydro and good aa as mino. But this thing has HE with high fire chance plus better shell speed and accuracy. The hull is also stronger.

Even though you cold inflict lots of dmg unpunished this ship is redicilous piece of op fuckery. 16 Guns with under 4 seconds of reload, 19,2km of range, 8km torps, hydro and for the worst part fog BS. Thats what you would call a total mess to everyone alse. You can actually kill every opponent in 1:30 by just sitting in your fog. great achivement. WG really wants to sell bias ships even if it means to ruin everbody elses game.

ps: guess WOW hates german bb players, i asked them what i am supposed to do against this in the GK. bassically i was told i need to sit back and do nothing, and let my team deal with it. How exactly the team is supposed to kill a ship with 19 km he machingun fire being invisible behind an island they didnt care to tell me. apperently according to WOW i have a big advantage because a bb has a lot of hitpoints and heavy guns. i have nothing to hit a smolensk with (overpen) and cant hide, therefore the smolensk has superiour speed, he spam, torps, smoke, speed, and invisibility. i am just a piece of firewood. Yeah this game is really enjoyable, very balanced. Ive decided to exit any game where people cheat (a.k.a run the smolensk, i dont give a fuck about the penalty)

Pure propaganda. I have had matches with 400 hits and 3 fires and it does happen often. You always get high damage numbers but rarely great XP or carry a match. Mostly people run and you end up with nothing to shoot or chasing kites. Try going 1v1 open water. It's not so wonderful.

Most people estimate something like about 1 year until they come into the game permanently. They are also developing anti-sub warfare for the Battleships. I'm really gonna need that for when I get Kurfurst.
