I really like the Nest update! I honestly haven't been in mine in months- it just feels out of the way and like there's no real point in going there. There's stuff I want to place, but I hit the limit on the amount of props I can have out and I'm too lazy to re-do my decor... But having my Nest as my launch-spawn would give me a reason to interact with it more!

The decor should be between 10-15 candles considering that they're replaced weekly. There's no reason to actually buy them and I don't know anyone that has since nesting

Next goals: • ability to use IGC to upgrade size, layout & item limit of nests (im thinking like.. sort of along the lines of Animal Crossing) • mailbox/mail slot next to nest doorway where we could also access those messages from (not bc it’s necessary but just bc it’d be super cute) • I want to stretch out on my couch. It’s so petty but I’m throwing it in here bc why not 🤣 And I’m putting those here in the comments bc I feel completely unheard when it comes to direct TGC feedback. Great ideas. Another thing I would really like to have would be a shop or pinboard where we can offer and accept heartrades with all skykids. In average I get only one heart a week from the lights in the friendship constellation and when I meet friends in game and ask for heart trades, they either broke or saving candles for the next travelling spirit. Therefor I have allways about 2000 candles, but I'm allways low on hearts.

That!! I hate notification icons flashing before my eyes. I have to click everything so they go away immediately. It would stress me out if too many people were able to just send me stuff whenever. XD I know that only people I have chat unlocked with can send me a message anyway, but that is still too many possible notifications. :'D I would prefer to be able to turn this off in general and also on a person to person basis, so I could have the message function active with like 5 people and not all the others.

I love the idea of starting game in my nest and sitting cutely anywhere in the room, this is awesome. I love it really really love it. I love to see the beautiful, very detailed and well-design Aviary Village from above, extraordinary view!!! I need the DM sooooo bad pleaseeee. I often catch myself wanna send a little note to a specific friend only when they are not online (planning, explaining something) but I don't wanna make a shared memory or a message boat, having it lying around for everyone to see, but can't be sure if the person I intended to see have seen it or not. Gosh, it's such a struggle.

I recently got into this game because of my GF and I fell in love with it so much. (I've grind it every day since we first played) And your Videos have definitely helped with some more interesting parts of the game, both grinding it and also just seeing traveling spirits, how all the candles work and generally just how fun this game can be. It is a bit too grindy at times. But after doing a full candle run every day for over 3+ weeks straight, I got my Outfits and even maxed out me and my Partner's Friendship tree :3. Thank you for explaining stuff that otherwise would have taken me like months to figure out. And Thank you for showing stuff early like these cool Beta tests. I cant wait to be able to send cute messages to her. Also side note, Never even knew about the Nesting stuff until now😭. lol

Snow at the nest!!! 😍❄️🩵 I was hoping for that this winter! And I LOVE the balcony. The lack of access to outside was the only thing that I felt was a little odd/uncomfortable for our Sky kids’ homes. I use my nest for quiet outfit planning and music playing, and I’ve worked pretty consistently to try and make it a cozy place, so this update makes me so happy. I’m already moving furniture away from that window so it’ll be open for the balcony. 😂♥️ Hmm. I like the limitations on the message feature. I also like that it’s technically a feature that already exists (share memories) but just available to one person at a time. At least from what we’re seeing here, it potentially seems well thought out so far. Aw! Sorry you’ve been sick lately! Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

Hopefully they also make it so the Nest becomes a new "compact home", I'd love a LETTERBOX statue or something where you can take the dailies, the seasonal candle from the pass, and the friends constellations or even just the messages. Hopefully they also make you choose between "Performance" message and written only message to send, I'm not so good at recording both text and emotes😅 (The balcony could be bigger honestly 😂😂😂)

Agreed. I’d love to be able to check friend constellations and messages from the nest. What you’re describing sounds like the friends statue at the load point in the village, but this would be in the nest instead, and then we’d leave the nest to get to the portals and the realm constellations. I think that would be wonderful.

Or, change your height? Much easier & can still be temporary. It's likely too much of a problem for them to allow masks over masks. They tried something similar but it kept causing problems so it was scrapped.

Also if using chibi spell allows you to use masks over chibi form then it's not hard to seperate the mask itself from other masks. They can make another section just like sunglasses section and hats section

You wear what you want & the spell just shrinks you along with what you're wearing, or if you change clothes while it's still active. That's completely different from trying to put one mask over another 🤦‍♂️

@@NoNames-vw3bq bro what I mean is that chibi mask is not just a mask, it's a whole form, they could've made a different section in masks and put chibi form in it. You would say what's the point of the mask then, yeah they could seperate chibi mask and chibi form so the chibi mask will be in masks section for whoever want to use it, it will look like the regular spirit you got the mask from with average height, while chibi form well be seperated. So if you chose chibi form you could either choose chibi mask withit or any other mask. They could think in many different ways

man.. you know what I want most in sky..? the ability to "opt in" (or turn on and off) to seeing others avatars! it's so hard socializing and trying to light people's candles because you don't know if they want to say hi or not. having an opt in feature would make it so much easier to locate people who would like to make friends! I try to be polite, too, but almost never find someone who wants to socialize :(

I have not done anyyy of the Nesting Quests and my Nest has nothing in it, kinda only collected seasonal candles back then and skipped the season. I also still have the original Homespace as my.. Home, because its just more convenient and just quicker as i'm currently only logging on for a few candles and the seasonals/events, but being able to have it as your Homespace/Spawn, with the added benefit of that gorgeousss logging in sequence of the the Village might make me actually do the switch.

Anyone know if the message thing will work with the translate function. From what I’ve seen, messages sent in shared memories don’t get translated, only the title does. Or that’s how it seems, I don’t use shared memories or spaces. Does that mean I won’t be able to leave a message for non English speaking friends?

the unfriend option is always bugging me because what’s the point of it? I think yeah it’s neat but then again if we remove them I think it’s better to restart the entire friendship tree so they won’t know that you unfriended them and continue with a fresh start so it won’t be as awkward if we ever wanted to add eachother again, they’ll find out if more then chat is already unlocked that they were unfriended by the person.

If you want to completely remove people you can block them & I think you can unfriend then block or vice versa should fully remove them but if you're unfriending people to start it's for a reason & likely won't be adding them again. If you unfriend someone they never see you online anymore in their constellation.

@@NoNames-vw3bq i understand that but it’d still be nice if we ever come across one another, we come off as strangers and if we ever wanted to re-add them, it won’t be obvious that we had unfriended them before. The unlocked friendship levels make it obvious. like unfriending someone should also come with consequences that you’re okay that all your friendship levels have been removed and you’d have to restart it from high five and all above. I personally think it’s dumb how they will still see us in their constellation but “never online” it’s so obvious that they’ll find out you had unfriended them because when you light someone that unfriended you, the star never lights and if you send a heart.. it doesn’t send. it’s basically like block, yeah blocking them you won’t get to see them on your constellation but it doesn’t change anything. they will see you’ve been changing outfits and it’s so obvious that you may have blocked. you are probably like “you had your reasons for unfriending” obviously yes but it doesn’t hurt to have a change of heart either but as a restart friendship. Some people have friend groups for example I would unfriend someone part of that group because of a situation. it’d be best if I ever wanted to add them again it’ll be different and we would start from scratch.

Personally i don't think the private messages is a good idea considering so many players are really young. Especially acter messaging and chat platforms like discord have had so many creeps going after young users.

it's nice to know that TGC really does care about player opinions. i had given suggestions about being able to leave messages to friends during the survey from after nesting season, i think? it's quite similar to this. This is better actually. it's an awesome feature that lets you keep in touch without being burdensome or feeling pressured to reciprocate messages. it just allows you to show care and be cared for. very nice!❤

tgc making an actually fun update you dont have to spend 50 dollars or 500 candles on? cool now remove the chat censor, or make it toggleable, sky is a game where you can literally chose who you want to chat with, by unlocking the chatting option or maybe muting someone, its nice to introduce a toggle for "safe chat" if someone doesnt want to accidentally read something nasty. but i dont wanna get muted FOR 30 MINUTES bc my sentence included the word "but, discord, sucks, stinky, gay" and now i cant chat with friends i knew for months and can only communicate through sky
