Beta Ray Bill - Action Figure and Comic History - From Panels to Plastic

The ToyBiz BRB is the last remaining ToyBiz figure in my collection. It is so perfect, minus the ball hips. I don’t think Hasbro will ever do anything nearly as nice with a classic bill. I actually added a soft goods bendy wire cape to my bill and it’s so muchh he better now. Fun fact, there was a slightly different version of the ToyBiz bill with a more opaque brownish skin tone as opposed to the more yellowish version you have. I used to own two and noticed that they had different skin tones. I prefer the brownish opaque version since it looks less plasticy. Not sure why there were two slightly different versions though, maybe they were being made in different factories.

Simon’s run on Thor was my favorite comic as a kid and loved all the Asgardian characters along with Beta Ray Bill! Awesome artwork and great ragnarok storyline! Couldn’t wait to get the next monthly issue when it came out at the local liquor store comic stand! 😂 Thanks!

I really hope the Hasbro team makes an updated classic 90s Beta Ray Bill figure because I often do both love and enjoy the Hasbro modern Beta Ray Bill version of the character because he is really a badass just like Thor himself, Fantastic video overall on both Beta Ray Bill's comic and action figure history Carbon Scoring.

I got the ToyBiz one to complete MODOK, back in the day. It's still on my 'ML villains collection' wall. I've had no time, money, space or interest for any of the later releases.

The second TB BRB was one of the earlier figures in my collection and even though I've never dived deep into this lore, it always struck me just how impressive it is. Always the OG 97 release, but man I just love everything about the second, especially the armor or on the legs.

I am not the biggest Marvel fan, but Bill has been my favourite Marvel chaarcter for many years. Id love to add a figure of him to my collection at some point. If they made a version based of DWJ's Argent Star miniseries, that would be everything to me. Such a good book

I do not even have a Beta Ray Bill figure, But I will get Thor related characters like the retro carded classic Loki, Thunderstrike, retro carded classic Hercules, and Ragnarok to use as a regular Thor despite the red clone Terminator looking eyes.

41 years since Beta-Ray Bill/Beta-Ray Thor's debut. And yet, from Marvel, still no: 'Beta-Ray Loki'; 'Beta-Ray Sif'; 'Beta-Ray Baldur'; ''Beta-Ray Odin' (he can see how HE likes being replaced by a monster horse-man). Given that there's been two ML figures of "The Blob" it's not outwith the realms of (Asgard) possibility that we may see a "Beta Ray Voltstagg" Marvel Legends figure. And once the Beta-Male-Asgardians (and Beta-Female-Asgardians) reach Earth/Midgard, how long before the X-Men, Avengers, Inhumans all 'go Beta'? (Forget 'Secret Invasion'!). Beta-Ray-Spider-Man (Peter) would not be allowed without Beta-Ray-Spider-Milo: "Let Them Fight!". Beta-X-Men, Beta-Avengers, Beta-Inhumans. Think of the Legends figures! (Beta-Ray-Spider-Milo and Beta-Ray-Milo may be a Wal-Mart exclusives, subject to your Wal-Mart branch not being closed down due to... ...um...flash mob videos). (Any resemblence Beta-Ray-Sif may have with AOC is purely an issue of Beta-Dentistry).
