Round 1: not really sure Round 2: Tails & Knuckles Round 3: Metal Sonic Round 4: Team Sonic from Sonic Heroes Round 5: wisps from Colors Round 6: Mania reference maybe? Final: Brawl reference

Gonna be honest. I don't like the new idle animation here at all -- it lacks the energy Sonic should have in a fight. It woulda been more cool to see an adaptation of his Sonic Battle idle.
