ELRS is something else. I'm still pretty newbie, but i started with ELRS so it was a lot to learn on top of already a lot to learn in FPV itself. This video helped me figure out the last pieces to the puzzle, and I about fell out of my chair because the motors actually came on. Great detail and explanations thank you.

Thanks for that, I really appreciate it! I am also loving my Pavo25, flies super smooth, just swapped out the nebula nano for a polar nano. The nebula sucks but it was the only one I had when I did the build. The polar nano is just right for this one, I can get away with 60fps since it's just a cruiser and that low light is awesome in the evenings!

Looks like jello in the footage at @18:33 on such a basic flight? I guess the 03 has the edge over the vista on terms of stabilization
@colibrifpv10 ай бұрын
That clip was actually filmed with the insta 360 GO2, and there was some weird Jello there, but I think that was stabilization issues with the Go2. I downloaded the stl for their mount, and it worked out a little better. If you have an O3 in your quad, no reason to use a GO2 anymore!

Just wanted to say that was a great video. Helped me with parts of my build. Can I ask what camera you used for the flight footage and if you soft mounted it. Thanks. Subbed.
@colibrifpv Жыл бұрын
Hey Falcon FPV, thanks a lot for your feedback! I used the insta360go2 for the flight footage, and yes, that camera really needs a soft mount. It's super sensitive to vibrations so I printed up the official Insta360 dampening soft mount which takes care of any vibrations and allows the stabilization to work its magic!

I just got the Pavo25v2, and the instruction ‘manual’ is 2 illustrations showing pretty much nothing. Is there a comprehensive guide to assembling it? Theres like 100 tiny M2 screws of differing sizes, grommets, etc.

Hey thanks a lot for watching! I run both 650-850mah 4s packs on my Pavo25 but with an external action camera ai would definitely go 850mah to get a little bit more flight time. Just make sure your motors aren't too hot when you land with those 850 batteries. If they are, use the 650's, if they aren't you're good!

hey jason. I bought the bnf. I have the jumper tlite elrs.. when I try to create a binding phrase. I can't figure out what device the receiver is listed under in expresslrs conf. Any Ideas?
@colibrifpv Жыл бұрын
Hi Jerry, configuring ELRS can be a little hit or miss at first but it is rock solid once you get it set up! In ELRS Configurator, under Target, select BETA FPV 2.4 GHZ. Then under device, select BETAFPV NANO 2400 RX. (I assume your BNF quad has that little white antennas in the rear, which is the Nano RX, otherwise, try "Lite"). That should allow you to build and hopefully flash the firmware. If you can't get the wifi phrase working, use Betaflight passthrough, that's what I do when I get errors. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

Can I use my old goggle from the Cetus to this drone? Also use my old controller for it ?
@colibrifpv9 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! If you get the analog version of the Pavo 25 then you will be able to use those goggles. If you get the digital (HD) version then no, you won't. As for the controller, I don't think so, but I can't say for sure because I don't know what protocol that controller uses. Using analog is fine for learning but you will probably want to upgrade to Walksnail or DJI O3 eventually, it's expensive, but soooo much better. For radios, consider the RadioMaster Boxer, ELRS edition, it will serve you will for years to come. Good luck!

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain to me, I’m pretty new on the fpv what why I got the Cetus to learn a little bit about it now in thinking to upgrade to this one but I was just wondering if that could be compatible bc in the website Andy does not come with the goggles, they all sold out

So you mentioned that this is a bind n fly but you have to still configure with a computer?
@colibrifpv Жыл бұрын
I actually built this one up myself, but even if you buy the bin n fly you will need to do a little bit of basic configuration with a computer eventually but it's not a big deal. Download Betaflight configurator and plug your flight controller into the computer via the USB port.

Hi great video and build. I'm coming from a Cinelog and looking at this frame. Is the vista bind button accessible at all? I swap from Avata to Cinelog 25 and the vista is buried in the CL25. Thanks.
@colibrifpv Жыл бұрын
Hi Craig, thanks for watching, I really appreciate your support. Yes, the vista bind button is designed to be accesible on the Pavo25 frame, although the way I built it at first it wasn't, the stack was too low and the space in the plastic frame didn't line up, so I added the included nylon buts to the stack screws and everything lined up great. I feel your pain, in other build I basically have to disassemble the frame to get to that button and it's super annoying!

Hi I bought betafpv pavo25 ELRS 2.4g, but I cant bind my Radiomaster TX12 MK-II ELRS , and I cant connect it to betaflight. It seems like FPV is in Boot mode (when I connect FPV to computer using microUSB, the controller chip led blue indicator at beginning have 3 short blips and then constantly blipping once per second). The ELRS led indicator in binding mode (2 short blips) but when I try bind my RC select ExpressLRS and than press [Bind] and nothing was happen... Anyone have that kind of problem with pavo25, and how to solve it, maybe install some drivers or flashing software?
@colibrifpv Жыл бұрын
Have you updated the ELRS firmware on your receiver (drone)? If the tx (radio) and the rx (drone) are not on the same firmware they will not bind. The easiest way to do that is via wifi. First, download ExpressLRS Configurator (Google it). Then identify which firmware you need for your RX (it will say the target in the BetaFPV product specs, or you can just choose from the list within ELRS Configurator). Then build your firmware, selecting wifi as flashing method. Then put your rx into wifi, which just involves plugging in the battery and waiting for 30 seconds or so. That flashing light you saw was probably the rx going into wifi mode. Then on your computer, select the ELRS wifi (you will momentarily disconnect from your home wifi). Then open the ELRS page if it doesn't open automatically (it's 10.0.0.1). Then upload your firmware file you created in ELRS Configurator. Your rx is updated! Repeat process for tx. Then it should bind. I know, I know, it seems like a lot the first time you do it, but it is super straight-forward the 2nd and 3rd time, and but he 5th time it's second nature, and there are many KZbin tutorials available, but this is the gist of it. Good luck and let me know how it goes!!!

@colibrifpv Thanks for your advice. Yes the reason that pavo25 have 2.0 ELRS and RC 3.2, so I flashed TX-12 to ELRS 2.5 and bind successfully, everything works just fine. About problems with betaflight the reason was a bad micro usb cable, i took a new one and everything connected just fine. Again thanks a lot!
