This dude beterbiev has the highest percentage of behind the head punches. You can hardly see him punching straight to the face or a chin. Nearly 90 % of all his Kos is a result of placing shots on ear area, on the top of the head and of course behind the head. His sparring partner Vaicehovskiy admitted that Beterbiev specifically practicing those punches. In round one against Kalaidzhich he performed 4 clear behind the head punches and got a warning from the ref twice.

One advantage for Bivol is he never goes toe to toe if it means losing control. Look at the demolition job he did on Canelo, completely outboxed him even when Canelo wanted to turn it into a scrap. Beterbiev is going to TKO Bivol within 6 rounds. I’m a huge fan of both guys, and have studied their careers and fights very closely. No doubt in my mind that AB finishes him quicker than almost anyone is predicting (if they’re not predicting a Bivol points win that is). Beterbiev is as skilled as Bivol if not more so. And he keeps improving. He is efficient, crafty, moves well, knows what he can absorb in order to get to where he wants to get to, cuts off the ring better than maybe any other boxer today, has incredibly high ring IQ and ring generalship, is a VERY accurate puncher, almost never falls for traps, is incredible and brutally strong inside, has unnatural power, and is a ruthless, excellent finisher. His footwork is also very underrated. Bivol has several flaws that he hasn’t really corrected, and they will lead to him being TKOd. There is significant evidence over a long period that Bivol’s team has avoided this fight for up to 5 years now. I won’t call it a duck because it was the right move, and very smart. Even still, this ends only one way. Beterbiev will be the undisputed light heavyweight division champion.

We are blessed here in Quebec Canada cuz Beterbiev started his professionnal career here in Montréal. We in Québec know him for more than 10 years while majority of boxing fans only heard of him when he started to be known internationally. We had the privilege to know and follow him way before everyone else on the planet. I remember when he signed with groupe Yvon Michel ( GYM ) in 2013 and his first fight with Christian Cruz. We adopted him as a one of us and now he's part of one of the most important fight in boxing we had in a long time. Leta go Beterbiev !!!!!
