Bivol has amazing stamina and just bullies constantly. Beterbiev will need to let his hands just go because Bivol will last all the rounds if he isn't getting hurt. And Beterbiev will need to not be going backwards like all of Bivol's other opponents. He needs to hurt Bivol early and keep the bullying to a minimum if he wants to win. But if he can get Bivol into a corner or the ropes, if he connects, Bivol WILL go down. Bivol just hasn't been hit cleanly yet. This fight will be interesting.

There's always someone who will land at the wrong time regardless of how good your chin is though. Bitterbiev is not a guy to soak up punishment against, if its looking hard before 6 rounds for bivol i think he gets stopped, if he breezes the first six he gets the desicion as he won't gas or slow down.

The fight was at super middle weight and not middle weight. The analysts claimed a 15LB difference instead of 7LB.Either the analysts did not know the weight difference between super middle weight and light heavy weight or they did not know the fight conditions in the Canelo vs Artur Bivol fight. They claimed it was a 15LB instead of 7LB difference. This beautiful video needs to be edited to correct that error.

It’s always the same story with these pressure fighters 20:27 OF COURSE a guy who will trade 2 to give 1 punches hard and swings away. Every boxer at world champion level can crack. But not every single champion opts to go off the front foot or opts to take damage. Artur has never fought anyone with the poise of Bivol or the fitness. He’s been dropped multiple times. They can never maintain this advantage bc they adrenaline dump and try to fight fire with fire. Bivol will literally not do that under any circumstance. AB WILL get hit hard. And often. For ppl talking about his power, I would guess a very very small % actually box. Anyone can hit hard if you do not care what comes back. This is the same issue Bud has sometimes. Great example is Crawford vs Mean machine . Absolutely floored getting caught up in a sloppy brawl and gd he hits hard. Bud ate it and recovered well once machine got a little overzealous. Point is against an operator who can go the distance and has composure, that’s a long night. More than 1/3 of AB’s fights have been less than 12 scheduled rounds. And of just the 13 that have been scheduled for 13, a further 5 were stopped in rounds 8 or later. Typically reserved for exhaustion KOs. That simply won’t be Bivol. So where does he do it? Early? When Bivol is moving and pop shotting him? Throwing haymakers he’s going to get clipped. He’s smart enough to know better. He’s going to have to bide his time and trap Bivol in the middle stanzas once he’s gotten some energy out. But I don’t think that’s likely. Bivol will habitually sapp his energy work his body relentlessly until AB has to put more and more into his punches to get the finish - each punch getting more and more telegraphed as more of his body is needed to generate the power. I don’t think this will even be a close fight. Maybe the beterbiev that Gvozdyk got - that was a scary man. But if you’re saying he’s not slowing down you’re not paying attention. No offense to Yarde or smith but the jump to Bivol is astounding. His age will be on display against a significantly better operator. Shame really bc this half a decade ago this is the scrap of the year hands down. Instead I’m expecting what we got in Terry Norris vs sugar Ray … a fight that would look drastically different just a few years earlier. But we shall see that’s why they lace up in the first place to settle things.
