On rewatch I was surprised at how much Bivol jumped on Beterbiev with combinations. He even put his weight on him in the last round. Beterbiev walked forward, but Bivol attacked with precision. He did look like the bigger man in the ring that night.

I urge everyone to watch the whole fight agin on 0.5 or 0.25 speed as you will find most of the punches Bivol throws didn’t land, the comunox numbers did not add up, Artur is also a defence genius. Bivol did land a few flashy shots but it was Artur hitting Bivol no stop from round one to 12

A good number of punches were piercing the guard, and partially landing on the face as well. That's a scoring punch. And if Bivol was so confident, why didn't he catch and counter like he did to Canelo

When did Bivol have Betervieb hurt or in trouble?. When did he showed dominance like he did with Zurdo or Canelo?. Generalship went Beterviebs way too. Take off your bias blinders. Your ticky tacky hitting might work in scoring againts weaker opponent but Betervieb left that mans face scarred. Yeah i was disappointed Arthur didnt finish him because thats what im accostumed to, but Bivol did not do enough to get the nod. The so called technician did not show enough resiliency or over whelming punch dominance, hence the decision. Betervieb not only showed his physical prowess but also outworked and put the pressure never relenting.

Bivol looked like the bigger fighter --> Bivol folded his entire upper body and fought rest of the fight shelled up and bent forward. How would you call it as fighting the bigger man 2. Bivol was jumping on Betr with massive flurries --> there is not a single mark on Beters face. Beter did take few clean shots but if he'd landed as many flurries, his face should've been bruised a lot more. 3. Bivols offense was more cleaner, effective punching --> but Bivols face marked up, arms swollen and body bruised from body shots. How is it the guy that showed effective punching is more bruised and retreating lot?? 4. Artur was shook and pushed off balance --> yes because he walked right into two to 3 shots. But Bivol was the one retreating for a minute or more after taking some shots 5. Bivol gas tank is amazing --> completely took off rounds 5 and 11. Beter just rested like 15 seconds during the rounds. 6. Bivol is an All time Great and you didn't say the same for Artur --> Team Bivol happily aged out Artur till 40 and Bivol is in prime at 33 and this is the performance he puts up against a old man coming from knee surgery. Wow, what an ATG performance 👏 🙌 7. Beterbiev only hit gloves --> lot of punches partially landed on gloves and also the face of Bivol. Everyone conveniently ignoring the fact some of those punches landed on the face as well. Artur Beterbiev is an ATG and doesn't come around often. Let's appreciate his greatness when he's around. Everyone glazing Bivol a bit too much for this average performance against a wounded 40 year old lion. If Beterbiev was 35 or 36, he would've stopped the Bivol that fought on Saturday

@@Av-fn5wx Bivol is half Korean. High cheek bones means he's easier to mark up. Those were mostly from Beterbiev hitting his guard, which doesn't count the same as getting hit flush. Aggressive doesn't equal skill. This is what many people don't realize. If you have 4 belts you better be amazing at finding openings. Beterbiev is not the best at this by any measure.

The Judges got it right. Artur Beterbiev beat Bivol. Bivol landed combinations and Artur landed single shots consistently. Landing combinations are eye-catching and can visually sway the round as a result.

Great commentaries guys ! I think the true winners of this fight are the viewers and those two incredible adversaries. They've shown us how great boxers they are. They are to a superior level than what we're used to see. On top of that, they are both boxers with an exceptionnal sportsmanship and a remarkable humility. If Beterbiev didn't have had a surgery to the knee prior the fight, I think he would have had more chances to KO Bivol at the end of the fight. But whatever the result we've seen a breathtaking boxing match.

Body punching has become a lost art in boxing. I kept waiting for Beterbiev's corner to tell him to start digging to the body when he had Bivol on the ropes. If Beterbiiev had commited to the body early I believe he would have had a good chance of stopping Bivol late. Bivol was wide open for body shots. Many fighters in the 80's like Chavez, Arguello, Mcallum and even Tyson's fight plan was based around body punching. By the 90's it was starting to fade. Today you almost never see a figter who focuses on body shots. Canelo throws hard to the body but he picks his shots there with no real comittment to it.

At least 2 judges should have given it to Bivol if not all 3.
