This song hit me HARD. My childhood was a complete shit show. I didn’t have a good mom (alcoholism, neglect & violence). I used to pray every night for a mom like Beth describes in this song. I never did but so happy & grateful for the little girls who did.

This performance is fantastic in my opinion because she forgot the lyrics before the song, she fails to play the piano during the song but her vocal rendition is unbelievable... And if you remember after this song she was so angry that she stopped the show fir a good minute without speaking and patting herself on her cheeks as if to say to herself:WAKE UP!... Exciting moment because there was the possibility the she went in crisis but then she started singing and playing again and in a great way!
