I had the misfortune to stumble across that Beth Moore tweet/thread. It was disheartening at the very least. Numerous responses by her disciples were blatant untruths and borderline blasphemous. The memes they constructed to say that Jesus Christ is literally leading Trump and his fans to the gates of hell and throwing them in for punishment reflect the bitter fruit of her current teaching. It revealed, for me, her insensitivity, lack of spiritual discerment, and social blundering. It indicated Moore's agenda was more about "I want to talk, so you get to listen" than an authentic, effective personal evangelism. @mikehall43724 жыл бұрын
I did not vote for President Trump in the first election because he had no record to run on, I strongly questioned his politics so I waited to see if he was going to live up to his promises. After a year of watching what he did and not what he said, I saw that he was really going to implement true "conservative" values that represented the average conservative both Christian and non-Christian alike. I cringed when he got on Twitter with some of his comments, but that did not and does not negate what he has done for this nation and its defense. National sovereignty is biblical! Throughout the bible, national sovereignty is clearly seen. Clearly, from the time of Babylon until now that has been the case. In fact, it was during the rebellion of Nimrod attempting to establish a global one-world government t and religion. If you will consider what I just shared with you you will understand that Trump defending "nationalism" is not wrong, and it should not be understood as "Christian Nationalism", a term that "progressive Christians" have created. I don't worship America, my first loyalty is to the LORD Jesus Christ, but I do honor America for what it has done; feeding the world, defending the world from communist tyranny in its many forms. I just do not have endless time to write to you. Below are just a small handful of his accomplishments. Examples: Moving our embassy to Israel, and declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel. [a very biblical thing to do] His defense of the unborn. Whether or not it is a personal conviction of his or not, he has done everything within his ability to fight against it. [I do think he thinks it is wrong]. Biden and the Democrats will do the opposite. VA reform [What was done to vets over the past 20 years was dispicable] Appointed conservative judges Strengthened the military Removed environmental restrictions to the oil and coal industry. Protected our border from drug cartels, terrorists, and unchecked disease. Until covid, he built the strongest economy in 40 years Let's not forget, he removed FDA restrictions creating a vaccine faster than ever before. These are just a few. But don't let me confuse you with the facts! By the way, by rejecting and fighting against President Trump she has aided and abetted the democrat party, of which Mr. Biden will apparently become the next President. The man who has been known to be a philanderer, full of corruption his entire political career. His son is under investigation for taking money and bribes from the Chi-coms, in which there are documents from Hunter Biden that he passes a percentage to the big guy [His dad]. Senator Biden forced his hand up the dress of one of his interns and forced a digit from his hand 'into her genitalia. I haven't heard from Beth Moore on that. The Democrat Party is the party of socialism/communism, anti-family, anti-law enforcement, anti-second amendment, anti-Christian/church, anti-free enterprise. So when all hell breaks loose in this country she will be one of the many "Leaders" that we will point out if she wants to be equal with the men, she put on her "big boy pants" and take the heat that will certainly come at her, and deservedly so. Beth Moore is showing how biblically unskilled in the Word of God. I look forward to your response! Mike

Idolatry is a nebulous charge but also a serious one. I say nebulous because only you can know whether you've turned something into an idol. Caring a lot about something or someone isn't idolatry. It's when it takes the place of God. If you want to identify that in others, you need to cite proof and intimately know the person. That's not the case when an evangelical celebrity speaks about Trump voters. I know cause I am among them. One might even go so far as to say that if at this moment in time you're actively seeking to undermine American loyalty to one's own country, you must be an ally to China. Because trust me: slavish devotion and a spirit of collectivism is expected by THAT government.

The only ppl Jesus was ever harsh with was religious leaders and politicians and ppl using God for there own ends. Like trump and his followers use God to excuse the in excusable. I know plenty of people here in KY who are evangelicals that behave exactly like Trump is seated at the right hand of God. In my family there are several. These people vehemently oppose and attack anyone who criticizes Trump. They themselves find no faults in Trump. They believe he is a devoted and humble Christian. They believe he was divinely seated by God and that he’s a modern day King Cyrus. They are utterly devoted. They believe Trump is their salvation. They will attack (on Trump’s behalf) their own children who have a different view. Many subscribe to the most extremist far right media figures like Alex Jones as well. They buy every conspiracy theory. They accuse people who oppose their devotion to Trump as following the satanic left. They spread unfounded conspiracies about the Biden’s and they take no issue with making despicable accusations without evidence such as saying Joe Biden is a child molester. Donald Trump does represent much of the worst that Christians could subscribe to in this present day. Those who have His narcissism considers no one beyond himself and his direct family (and sometimes not even them), he is totally devoid of empathy, he is a liar, he is a bigot, a sexist, he celebrates violence, he defrauds people routinely, and he’s a racist. You talk about posturing? From my perspective, watching your channel for the first time...you appeared to be disparaging Beth Moore and manufacturing her intent as if you have an inside view of her head...as well as doing a whole lot of playing dumb in an effort to invalidate what she wrote. Almost like gaslighting someone who doesn’t agree with you just by pretending you don’t understand. This is just my objective perspective.

I live in Texas and i totally understand what she is saying, Trump and his actions are very dangerous and most Christians dont want to admit it

I didn’t vote for president but I’m curious what actions you consider dangerous.

I live in Texas too. I haven't seen the big danger you speak of. Vague and conspiratorial, as usual.

Simple. Replace Trump"s words and action with what Jesus would say and do and you will see what Beth is saying.

@@ConversationsThatMatterpodcast 4 For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God. (2 Corinthians 4)

Beth Moore is a "progressive" Christian. Just as the term means, a social justice amenable shape shifter who adheres to the popular trendy type of belief. A fundamentalist can be described as: It is like if one believes in the original intent of the US Constitution and that it needs no change because it stands on irrefutable precedents. It is immutable, and this is the way the Bible is viewed as well. (Malachai 3:6, Hebrews 13:8 for ref.) But the progressive; aka evolutionary socialist feels that the document should change with modern/contemporary trends, times have changed, God expects us to alter and change with it, to be more tolerate, loving and accepting regardless of what scriptures say. However, does God change? Does this coincide with the biblical view from Genesis to Revelation?
