it seems as if she herself doesn't give her own presentation the respect it deserves. she gets distracted, she talks too much between verses... it's okay for her to interact with her audience but so many distractions disconnect herself from the song and she can't get the message across. she is a very good singer but she doesn't connect enough.

Jessie's voice and ability are unequivocal. As a fan of music I don't concede with the idea of Who we are "supposed" to like and support and where they are "supposed" to be. I still think Beethoven could body most of today's producers, and he was said to be a @sshole. I don't know why she's not Beyonce, Adele icon status but there's always been buzz of her being "difficult" but the same for every top star, incl Beyonce and Adele. I can only imagine it due to some illnesses she's reported to deal with. If you've never been around chronically ill people and don't understand the challenges for that person and the people around them, you just won't understand. No matter where she is rated or how she's regarded, she can sing. And I'm just glad she does.
