I really like the way you emphasize moving beyond what is comfortable and safe into challenging yourself a little more. So often, students are quite happy to just finish in about 10 minutes flat! Your explanations and reasoning why are incredibly clear and concise. Your tips to students are also handy and will help avoid accidents . Thank you for producing a very "user friendly" resource.

Very nice and enjoyable video. I learned when I was about 3 years old that I had zero talent. That is why I decided to stop then. Now that I am 64 I might try one more time thanks to your video.

I saw this somewhere online and really wanted to try this with my 8th graders, but I was really confused about the process. This was so clear and well done!

May I ask where I could get some worksheets. I have metal to do the repousse and would like to do this with my 8th graders
@BethanyThiele Жыл бұрын
I would highly recommend you create your own worksheet for students to plan on that is aligned with your metal size and your intended goals.

I do this with 8th grade but I think it could be good for any age (depending on expectation)

To buy this metal what do you search for?

36 Gauge Copper Sheets is what I used. I got the stuff called “Art Metal Foil” from Blick. www.dickblick.com/products/art-metal-foil-sheets/. Aluminum is cheaper is cost is an issue. I would stick with 36 gauge and not go thinner though, however some people even by with heavy duty aluminum foil!
