I watch you for your personality and indispensable information... But your riding skills just blow me away! You always just say it’s because of your training, your modesty is refreshing. It’s also educational - I feel that somebody is not going to be able to ride like you can without lots and lots of training and practice. Keep it up. You are a good guy!! Picturesque is right, and we love to see all of your diverse students!!! If I was 3 1/2 hours away I’d ride there in a heartbeat.

I started laughing while i was mowing grass yesterday because did you know that when weedeating you need to preload and keep it loaded because when the trimmer head hits the ground and the string hits the grass you want to keep the power up so the engine doesn't bogg down. It made me proud that I thought of that because like you said we have to train our minds and bodies to get out of these bad habits we have learned while practicing. So preload and keep it loaded works on more than just riding motorcycles. Thank you Robert I love watching these older practices as well as the new ones. I can't wait to actually practice with you!!!!

I was fixated on watching ur practice session #6 and you did something that was so "out standing" you were riding through the obstacles course towards the end of ur video as if I was riding the course on ur harley, with ur camera running and you came to an almost stop and ur harley started to lean over and I actually felt that I was on ur harley as it was leaning and I actually felt a little nervous, then you preloaded and ur harley straightened up and got through the turn, Amazing!

Hey Tarl. Thanks man that’s awesome! Yeah I know exactly what you’re talking about. The same thing that happened to me that I covered in a couple of videos in the past where I was in a situation where I wasn’t going to make the turn unless I literally let the motorcycle fall in the direction of the turn and catch it with the throttle and clutch. If you watch it again you’ll see the same scene, but from in front of the motorcycle. 😊👍🏾

I have watched every one of your videos. Thank you. I need to practice these exercises weather permitting in Pennsylvania. Just one thing, it's a little difficult riding the rear brake in slow speed maneuvering with a right leg prosthesis. I crushed it off just below the knee and eight breaks in the left leg. I started riding again about twelve years ago. Now I ride an '06 Electraglide Classic.
@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle4 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy. I’m sorry to hear about your unfortunate accident, but I’m pleased to see you’re riding again. It is possible to to slow ride without using the rear brake, but it’s not something I practice. However, if you use the throttle and the clutch alone, you just have to be a little more mindful of the amount of power you’re providing to the rear wheel because without the rear brake, you’re only relying on pulling in the clutch to slow you down.
@HUNTER-vb5gw4 жыл бұрын
@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle Well, I'm trying to learn to master the slow race. You're in Georgia? I used to travel down to Toccoa GA back in the 60's and 70's. All riders need to scoot up closer to the tank keeping their arms bent this will help in making left and right hand turns Arms bent help with controlling the upper body movements it helps the rider from overextending their arms and shoulders causing the rider with unbalanced forces Breathe Head And Eyes Up Keep Ones Legs Tucked In Next To The Tank Bike Fitment Center Of Gravity

If anyone wants an easy way to make "cones" for practicing slow-speed maneuvers like this, cut a bunch of tennis balls in half and throw them in your saddlebag. I bought a pack of 45 on Amazon for $35 (cheaper than cones). Learned that trick at a course last spring. BTW: it's a bit more of a pain than expected. Here's a video of what worked for me: kzbin.info/www/bejne/horYkqWhmMmCpJI

Robert, just the other day I watched an Adorama TV review on the DJI Osmo Pocket (kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpvafIuGhpVobM0). It may be something worth considering to give your videos an edge. Re the riding of some of your 'students', one shouldn't judge, especially since I'm currently no better, but one wonders about the anxiety levels of some of these riders in daily traffic, that takes all the joy out of riding (mine are sky high, but only on my ST1300; when I'm on my PCX150 I'm on autopilot, I have no problem with figure 8s, U-turns, pulling away etc.).

Thank you. I actually have a DJI Phantom 4 Pro+. I've used it on some of my videos.

@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle the DJI Osmo Pocket is a handheld camera with a gimbal, not a drone, it allows you take rock-steady video footage, not really possible with a handheld cellphone (even if on a selfie stick). Check out the Adorama video.
