Nice work, Samar 👍. I like videos where an update to drastic pruning action is included. It helps the audience understand how the plant reacted to the changes made to it. Its a more complete story. Where did you buy the branch cutter, seen at 8:01 and for how much ? Are you happy with it ? I am planning to buy.

Pot growing plants need new soil in an interval of 2 or 3 years, it needs root pruning too to grow well. I don't have any idea or experience on plant hormones.

Removing bark will ensure the branch will dry, I can remove the ded woods afterwards easily, there will be no new growth as I want.

Thanks for the reply. But you could have as well cut it out with a saw as you have done for the upper part these branches. Looks like space was not a problem. So I would like to know, what is the advantage of removing the branch this way rather than cutting it out with a saw.

yes it is difficult to grow thick cuttings. you can try, take a cutting of 10 inches, put 50% under the soil, keep it under shade and cover the whole with a semi transparant plastic, water it before dry.
