Ramona cracks me up how to this day she proclaims, "I don't lie!". When she has been caught in countless lies on the show and is constantly rewriting history to fit her lies. Like here, how she was sort of floating an idea of "Who wants to go out to brunch?" and even suggesting restaurants, then after Bethenny offered to host and Ramona sensed she was losing control, she comes up with some insane lie that she emailed everyone to invite them to a brunch hosted by her at her house but that her email is broken so no one got it. If that were true why would she have been suggesting restaurants in the first place?! It's such an obvious lie and they all know it but she just clings to it and repeats it over and over until she is against the wall then she does a classic Ramona apology hoping everyone will forget and she won't be fully exposed as a liar. She has done this time and time again but it is so classically displayed here. She's totally cracked!

She is the one who set up 'different camps' by introducing her parallel brunch offer and capitalizing on any eager fool who took the bait [aka sonja]. Bethenny is awful here - her behaviour is quite manipulative. First she deliberately tries to undermine Ramona by talking about sex and then accusing Ramona of being uncomfortable before she has said a word, so that she is immediately put on the backfoot - accusing her of being 'defensive' when she responds. There's no way that Ramon could 'win' in that scenario whatever she did, then she completely over-reacts and plays the victim when she again pushes Ramona's buttons by inviting Sonja to her house. True that Ramon doesn't handle things well a lot of the time, but she's not emotionally manipulative like Bethenny is,. Bethenny seemed to be making lots of power plays in that whole scene, which were successful as she managed to make Ramona react just like she intended to do. It's so successful because most people don't see what she is doing, It reminds me of behviour I've experienced myself, horrible.

Bethany manipulates a lot of situations and this was one of them. She doesn’t like Ramona. She didn’t find what she was saying about having lots of sex “believable” so she wanted to catch her up in a lie by asking her more questions to see if she’d get flustered, which she kind of did. And then it spiraled from there. Ramona got defensive because she felt put on the spot and embarrassed. Bethany started it 100 percent
