There's dialogue in which you can actively partake, countless unique quests that have you run from snowy mountains to deserted forests, and into multiple different realms. Comparing a shooter with zero variety like Doom to Elder Scrolls is like comparing a simple pancake to a broth prepared by Gordon Ramsey.

I've played Beth games my entire life, I grew up with Morrowind, and loved this company for so long. If there ever was a loyalty to a company, it was to Bethesda. During Skyrim, I got put off, yeah, the game was epic, and it was fun, but... It felt as if there were things missing. Quickly, I realised that I missed missions, skills, excitement in the RPG sense, I was just an overpowering death machine killing whoever I was told to kill. Then Fallout 4 rolled out, and somehow, I started feeling the same thing. Sure, I could choose a faction, and follow missions from multiple, but in the end... It was almost all the same. Then they started selling stuff over the creation club, and while I was wary, with the paid mods on Steam, and the damned horse armor, I was still shook that they did this. And with every step they took since that, my internal monologue has been resembling Afro's more, and more. You are not insane for screaming like you do, for feeling betrayed as you are, no, you're the sane one. They fucking did us dirty.

As a massive Bethesda fanboy, because they have games that I love to play, I think you complaints are too petty and insignificant. Wait, before you star typing a hurtful rebuttal, let me explain. The leveling system is ideal, since the point of an RPG is to become an unstoppable killing machine. I mean, what is the point of enemies leveling up with you to provide the same challenge over and over. I just prefer to kill them instantly to play my power fantasy instead to micromanage every fight just to get through it. that is an annoying problem in old RPGs, but old RPG do have a fixed ending, while Skyrim doesn't. Second, horse armor is awesome. Definitely overpriced for $2, but it added something new to Oblivion. You can decide if you are willing to pay the price, but don't judge the content based on that price. CC is also does the same thing. The complaints of Fallout 4 are, well petty. Voiced protagonist, build you own settlement, that you can join one faction, are fine by me. Never bothered me. As far as graphics. I am not a graphics whore, plus each game has its own style and feel to it. Finally, I do hate Fallout 76, not because of the bugs or microtransactions, it is because of the multiplayer. I hate multiplayer because of other people. There is nothing more frustrating when you try to fallow your own adventure and other people just get in the way. However, I will feel the same way as you if they hadn't announced Starfield and TES 6 to be single player titles. unlike EA and Activision who have gone only the MP and the microtransaction way. There, I think I made my point. Love BGS, Bethesda publisher, Arcane, ID, and any other they work with.

Don't you normally get harder enemies so you are motivated to level up, so you actually get the feeling uf becoming stronger and more of a badass because as soon as the enemies are stronger and you defeat those stronger enemies you actually gain some meaning? Whereas if you are a unbeatable killing machine killing enemies the same strength of those at the start, yes, you feel op and that is nice sometime, but it is meaningless. When the hardest enemies can be beaten after 20 hours, then the challenge is over. Imagine a pokemon game where after the fourth gym all enemy pokemon are the same level, they are still different type and have different moves but nigga you are 20 level abive them. You 1 hit them. Why even go to a gym anymore? Why is the rest of the gyms more significant than the first 4? How does the top 4 and the champ even still matter? Answer is easy: they don't. Quite contrary, it is harder to defeat the first four gyms, and that's why you need to put in work and the gym badge is an actual reward. Plus: i agree on the fallout 4 argument. Long was i afraid of being the only one. But what is a choice, if it leads to the same outcome/path just with different names and styles? It isn't an actual choice.
