Starfield really showed that they're completely incapable now. Also they lost all their good writers and programmers which are now working on the wayward realms successor to elder scrolls Daggerfall, Over 5,000 times the size of Skyrim. At best some of these old developers were subcontracted out to create Morrowind and Oblivion then never returned. Some people think it's still the same development team today. An alternative RPG couldn't have come at a better time where AAA game developers are dying because refused to listen to the customers they're too busy listening to the investors.

@@slashrocks19801 Wayward realms isn't ALL of their old devs. It's also going to utilize HEAVILY on ProcGen, the largest complaint about Starfield lol. I have high hopes for the game, but also skeptical. They haven't missed on any MAIN series TES games yet. I'd rather they get w/e is happening w/ starfield out of their system now and seeing what works, doesn't, and what fans aren't okay with, rather than it all being super experimental in a TES or FO game.

Although that was a big complaint in starfield I'd have to say loading screens is definitely number one. For Bethesda it's unavoidable because of the creation engine aka gamebyro since that's the base coding. One of many gamebyro game engine limitations is playable area to create more you essentially connect them through loading screens. Can't see Bethesda dumping that engine so they must deal with all the old game limitations baked into the code.

I hate bethesda for revealing the game in 2018, because there was no game to reveal. Like Trump would put it, they had the concept of a game. Nothing more. Even 7 years after Skyrim would should have had a sequel. TES is their flagship franchise. But no 7 years after we get the concept of a sequel and then nothing for 6 more years. After that they tell us that it's still in early development. You don't reveal a game like that, at the very least the game should be entering late development or the polishing phase. 1 year away max. Starfield will never be the next Skyrim that people are playing 10 years from now. Move on and give us what we want. Jesus christ more people are playing Skyrim RIGHT NOW than Starfield.

The loading screens were bad on my PS3. I bought Skyrim on Steam for my laptop PC, and they are just a blip. They go by too quickly to read the tips on them. If they can avoid bloating the game, it shouldn’t be an issue. (I have no mods installed, so the base game is very light)

My tip to Bethesda: 1. Listen to your fans. 2. Remove the Creations store (leave the access to mods). 3. Look back at past titles. Look at what worked. 4. Look at the modding community, the lore masters, and elite players. Get into touch with them and work with them to ensure a great game is released. 5. Be it a voiced character like in Fallout 4 or text-based chatter in other games, make sure the player options are multiple and varied. 6. No forced hero/heroines. If someone wants to be evil, let them be. Even put followers into the game that prefer or are tolerant of evil methods. 7. Let the player bring 2 characters with them. Maybe allow for more reasons to go into the taverns that allow for you to interact with and form bonds with their followers. 8. Upgrade or replace your engine. If the engine is not being the best, then switch it out. 9. Do your best to drop this game on all platforms. Do these 9 steps and you may have one of the best games ever released. Last item, controversial but needed: focus on the real audience, not the "modern audience" that made up the player base of Concord 😂😂😂

It's almost certainly taking place in Hammerfell, which we know because of a series of cryptic tweets Bethesda made shortly before the release of Starfield. I'm pretty sure Fudgemuppet did a video on it around the time it happened, but so far, all the information we have points to it taking place there or at least somewhere in the Iliac Bay.

I didnt want starfield. Mostly cause it got in the way of elder scrolls 6. Seems from everything i heard the game was just bad in so many ways. so not only did it get in the way of TES 6 it's also a bad product. I'm very worried about TES 6, like i just have this gut feelings its going to be the biggest disappointment imaginable. Its going to end up being a 20 plus year wait for bare bones hot dogwater (hopefully im wrong). I love Bethesda in the past but Bethesda since after fallout 4 has been very questionable.

What I want to see is some soul back in games and the NPC make you care and some complexity to the games. Skyrim was fun and as a kid, it was fun and easy to understand. But to easy and not much of a soul in the characters. Morrowind was one of my favorites because of the characters and how much you can do.

I’d love for TES6 to have more realistic body movements in combat. I would love to see more dynamic body reaction to being hit by an arrow or being burned by a destruction spell. Starfield killed my faith in my favorite studio of all time. I wrote off FO76 since that was Battlecry studio's mess, after bethesda stripped them of their namesake game and title. I really hope they sit long and hard on this title. We'd heard inklings of Starfield some 11 years before it's release, and it came out in such a state... I want the best for bethsoft. But most often some amount of effort needs to be put in. Will they is the ultimate question, I'd guess.

The biggest problems for Bethesda games. Making new games with the same formula as the old with not enough new stuff to fill it in, not enough work on the writing, the corporate greed of Microsoft especially and people being Jaded yes i understand they fell short for the reasons mentioned before and those need to be addressed but too many people are complaining too much in the wrong way i hope this helps give people a new perspective and that more people come to understand this

TES 6 will have a release date in 2030 in RTX 50 or 60 something for PC and Xbox something . If it's set in the Iliac Bay, it will inevitably be compared to the absolute gem TES II: Daggerfall was, and unless it's a genre-defining masterpiece, it will flop.

I doubt most people playing TES VI will even remember Daggerfall. I agree that it was a masterpiece, but I think the vast majority of gamers are just going to compare it to Skyrim. At best, we're going to see a bunch of Skybabies complaining about RPG elements in their RPG series, but given Bethesda's track record, I think we're going to be the ones complaining.

@@goonsquad8258 Yes, it's a good question to ask who is more likely to have played Daggerfall (the original DOS version or the Unity port) and considering the amount of people who discovered TES solely with Skyrim, it's probably the more serious fans, those who've played some of the older games, that may end up dissapointed. But I'm pretty sure that even the Skybabies were disappointed with Starfield and its "Keep it (too) simple, stupid" approach, so in the end TES VI might end up as a disappointment for everyone.

I mean the pronouns come up in the character creator and then not again from what I saw. It's not like other games that try cramming it down your throat. That said Starfield was rough. I personally think they'll take their lessons learned from starfield and know what NOT to do in TES6.
