Yeah I mentioned something similar in the TxSU video. Bands don't need a hype man, or announcer talking sooooo much over the band lol. The audience is smart enough to follow what's going on without someone talking. He could just announce the next song without the additional paragraph of commentary lol

@@Vambam121 All bands have announced who are their hype man, even your favorite. I'm talking about tradition in Cookman. Go back and watch Cookman from 2012 on back and listen to that announcer. This announcer now is different, it's like he scared to talk yeah but tries and really sounds corny at the wrong times. But he will work on it, to each it's own

He should be near retirement lol, cause he was at Bethune back when I was in high school '02-'06. He started at BCU as assistant director in '96, so that's almost 30 years.

Disagree this was one of their better shows because it was unpredictable. I criticized Dr. Wells of being too predictable. They didn't march from the end zone and play Let's Go Wildcats and spell BCU. They actually did 2 drills instead of the usual circles and straight lines.

Only thing impressive about BCU was that they had Muni Love and they struggled with that. They didn’t sound bad, but I know some High School bands that deliver better sound. The season is here!
