@@DirtyMardi him and his legion were basically the only unified force. Angron and his legion slaughtering friend and foe alike, fulgrim and his legion just going being deviants to the extreme. Iirc morty was banished already by Jaghatai. Magnus was only there to reclaim his noble shard which was already gone. I can’t recall all the others, but perty ended up saying screw this noise and just left because of all that. They (the traitors) weren’t unified in the siege. That’s the main reason he left the siege.

The more one reads or hears about the HH the more gets evident that the traitors were BARELY collaborating, i mean the loyalists seem to be united 99% of the time while the traitors just seem to have a common enemy but not like each other. Horus was displeased with Perturabo and would have preferred Dorn on his side (which is rich since without Pert the traitors wouldn't have gotten inside the sol system) Angron hated everybody just slightly less than big E Mortarion didn't like big E but wasn't big on the Chaos worship (same with Pert) Curze was disgusted with Lorgar and his mutants Perturabo couldn't stand neither Fulgrim, Angron norLorgar Magnus was just sorta there. The only things the traitors seem to have in common is hating big E, being charmed by Horus and not liking their brother Lorgar one bit
