It's pretty cool that they're they're now strictly a metalcore band now. Back when the OG vocalist and Aaron was in the band they were straight up mixing metalcore and deathcore. Which they still could be doing right now as far as the new album goes and more new singles. I'm sure they are but we'll have to wait to see. This song is awesome. Part of it gives me an architects vibe.

@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882yes you're right about that. Their first couple of eps in first couple of albums were combining both blackend deathcore and metalcore. Because you can tell by the way he's screaming in those albums and eps is that he was mostly doing metalcore screams. But when his Lows got lower a little was the deathcore screem. He also done some black metal highs as well. So old make them suffer was combining blackened deathcore and metalcore. Betraying the martyrs on the other hand their first two albums I think were more deathcore with clean vocals. When the original vocalist left the band Aaron came in and that's when they were mixing metalcore and deathcore a lot more and then when Aaron left the band to do ten56. The original vocalist of borderlands became the current vocalist of betraying the martyrs and now they're just metalcore and that song sounded a little bit like architects. If you don't know what borderlands is no I'm not talking about the video game I'm talking about the band borderlands they're metalcore or Prog metalcore. Their songs are in the style of old school erra.

Estoy de acuerdo es muy bueno ver que la banda sigue adelante después de la salida de 3 miembros originales empezando con el baterista, luego el guitarrista y ahora último el vocalista pero en mi opinión cada vez estos miembros son reemplazados por otros que no dan la talla el baterista original Mark mironov era una bestia tocaba demasiado bien, ahora Boris Le gal no es la gran cosa como baterista, luego el guitarrista Lucas D' Angelo era demasiado bueno su reemplazo Steve's Hostin tampoco llena ese espacio que dejó Lucas y ahora Aaron Matts también hacía unas vocales muy buenas pero lamentablemente el reemplazo no es que sea malo o que cante mal el problema es que es demasiado genérico su scream es pésimo por no decir que es más de lo mismo que hacen muchos vocalistas hoy en día del mismo género, los guturales igual no le llegan al nivel de los guturales de Aaron, la voz limpia es buena pero no era necesaria ya que Victor ya cubría ese nicho con una mejor voz y para terminar de empeorar cambiaron de discográfica a una más pequeña y con menos notoriedad que Sumerian records

Heard this while I was listening to Spotify, playing some chivalry 2 a couple of days ago. I had to stand there in game and let people wail on me and my kill streak to so I could find the name of this song. All worth it. As for the song, which I'll listen to some more. I have to say it has that pure raw emotion that I like in this genre or "releasing the evil". Plus the lyrics are easy to remember and I caught myself at work today humming along to the tune.
