My betta just died, water parameters great, 25percent water changes weekly . Feed Xtreme pellets and Floval bug bites. A week ago I hydrated freeze dried brine shrimp, that seems to be when problem started. He was listless with poop hanging down.

RIP! It was possibly food issue as you guessed. Hanging poop is sign of internal parasite

I think my female betta is ready for mating because there is white marble under her and she making bubbles...but at the same time i believe she also have dropsy because her scale start to open like pinecone. What should i do should i let her mating or do i need to keep her separate from male betta? For now i let them sit in same tank but separate them by plastic container. The male keep circling the container

If you see pinecone shape, possibly dropsy or constipation issue. I would treat that first before breeding.

@@aquadiaryofficial sadly my fish die last night...after i transfer her to recovery tank i made for her, about 2 hours later she died. I'm so upset because i really care much about my betta...i really tried my best. Cried all night. Thank you for you kind respond.

I use the salt for my dropsy betta fish i dont have a blue color so what should i put???

Methylene blue helps. But if you don’t have, try with salt alone and keep water temperature over 80F
