One show that never gets brought up when people talk about the "golden age" of Cartoon Network is Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi. That show was my introduction to J-rock and also Yumi was one of my top childhood cartoon goth girl crushes. It's a shame that CN basically tried to erase its existence so now people barely remember it.

The golden age of Cartoon Network was when they had the cartoon world bits during breaks. Where they had every character from different shows interact with each other. In Disney too, when they had House of Mouse. Same with CN, they had different characters from different series interact with each other and made the world feel more real. Like theyre actors watching their own shows.

As someone who just finished rewatching for the third time all 8 seasons of Regular Show back to back, I can definitely say that every joke/old reference was a latent realisation children would have when they look back on this show. The fact so many younger millennials or older zoomers who even know of EEnE seem to 100% hate it, makes me truly feel most shows really could fail if they were made too early or too late. I guess you had to have been through the whole "gross out" phase of the 90's to have caught onto it despite me personally thinking it should still stick due to it's humor alone but no... 100% of younger people seem to think it's too ugly like Big Mouth or Secret Mountain Fort Awesome tier (which feels unfair.)

I remember going through an odd few phases as a child, where at first it was only my friends in the house over the road who had the right TV package to watch these channels if (Cartoon Network and Fox Kids), so could see it if I was over at their house and they happened to want to watch something on them. Then my Grandparents got it and I could occasionally watch them over the weekend if we went over there and no one else decided they wanted to watch the TV. Eventually we got it in my own house, but by that time most of the shows that had caught my eye were no longer running plus I was starting to reach that age where I was growing out of them and hadn't yet discovered the Anime.

I never really cared for Flapjack. I feel like it tried to do the same dark and gross humor that Billy and Mandy did, but it just came off as gross and disturbing instead of funny. Ben10 was really cool when I was a kid, and it handled the perspective of an obnoxious 10 year old really well, where as an obnoxious 10 year old myself I found it relatable, but its harder to watch the original series nowadays since he comes off as too much of a selfish brat sometimes. The timeskipped series when he's a teenager, now that was when it PEAKED, before ultimately failing after being milked dry by cartoon network.

The butch hartmann style of animation, just evokes a sitcom vibe for me. So the pace felt like punchline after punchline, with no time to breath. So much so that jokes tend to bleed into one another. Genndy style animation leaves moments of just people doing mundane actions with no dialogue.like there's still times I can remember Cheese walking into and out of scenes while the goofy music played everytime he walks. Just little things like that. So yeah, Fosters was more memorable and consequently, more fondly remembered for me, compared to the hazy skits of FOP.

Ed edd n eddy was an L, but I get where he was coming from with Code Lyoko. It was a great kids cartoon, and also an incredibly mid show. Not mutually exclusive.

Ed edd nerdy was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. SpongeBob second, a lot of bettel cartoon was good. I also loved courage the cowardly dog.

I agree with his take on Adventure Time. It felt like it had TOO MUCH shoved on it in each episode, to the point i couldn't miss an episode anymore or i was fucked.
