Great editing!! You can not go wrong with a Victron controller. Did I see a grounding wire on your aluminum panel mount?

Thanks. Yes, there is a ground copper wire attached to my solar panel's frame.

@GreenTechTown If that frame is aluminum, then it will make for a poor ground. Trust me, I found out the hard way.

Interesting. Yeah, I have mine connected with a grounding lug (similar to this one: amzn.to/40t7SQs) which is attached to the panel's frame. Seems many have supported doing it this way, but I'm always curious to learn new ways. What solution do you use now?

@GreenTechTown In my opinion, you would need a grounding rod driven into the ground. Then, have a wire connected to your mount. After that, you can groundi other stuff to the attached wire. I believe what you see on YT is guys doing what I ha e described but don't show it. I could be wrong. Google "Is aluminum a good ground?".

Ohhhh I was under the impression you were only concerned about the grounding conductor attached to my solar panel. I did install a grounding rod for this system, just not shown in this video. The following video I created in the past shows how I went about grounding the system: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWXIqWuDpNasm80si=IfaUWUBAAqrjZPho&t=344

What are you using to draw the schematic?
@mehgoodenoughАй бұрын
Yeah, I've seen similar webapps for Network wiring diagrams. Could we get a link? 😃

Believe it or not, it is just PowerPoint :D It gave me more flexibility with creating new connection points on imported/created images since my goal was to create a "pictorial" diagram instead of your typical schematic diagram. However, I'm sure there is probably a better option out there. Feel free to let me know if you find one or know of one.
