@@donspringstead1649 I sure hope she is staying well too. She has had some close calls. She worked so hard to entertain her fans and to be able to enjoy her retirement. It's a shame to work so hard to do so and then fall ill. I can never get enough of Tina. She's a classy, fine lady.

@@shipleysully6711 right...she has seen a million miles of rough road. She really helped me along the road of life. Positive attitude in spire of big obstacles. What a force of nature Tina Turner was. And the fact that she was in her mid 40s during her comeback is incredible. Today is common but back then it was rare and Tina made it possible.

In memory of Tina Turner who passed away earlier at the age of 83 and is currently leading the celestial choir in God’s Heaven. She became the comeback kid of 1984 and had an incredibly incredible successful solo career. She got to put Ike in the rear view mirror for good, and found a better life in Switzerland. She even got married to a Swiss gentleman and had a good life at long last. Tina was fantastic on stage. No wonder she was the Queen of Rock and Roll. This clip is living proof. Enjoy.
