I found your "better beaders episodes" and I'm so happy. Each episode has a multitude of information and tips. That is excellent! So, I typed in Episode 1 and will start to go through each episode. I'm sure I can a can learn a lot only from watching all the episodes. Thanks sooo much to start such a tutorial.🥰👏👏🎉❤🥰

Hi - Could you do a specific pin making video? I've adapted some of your earring& pendant patterns for this but I'd love to see your take on pin designs. Thanks much - I always learn from your videos.

Thank you, Allie, for a great comparison video for some of the new 2 drop beads. Love the selection of colors represented!

This is fantastic! Thank you, I was confused about the paisley and zolos. Also it is good to see the colors, maybe showing some of the colors in future videos could be done? I found the colors names "labrador" and "lila" confusing. I see from this vid that the white lila gold is massively different from the white lila.

Question. The Kite bead, what other 2-hole beads can you substitute? Can you use a paisley duo?
@Potomacbeadco5 жыл бұрын
Basically, it depends on your pattern or project. Experiment with a sample piece and explore your options. Happy beading!

Very informative video! I loved visiting your store this weekend and hope to make another trip up sometime. I almost bought Zoli beads but decided to wait. Now wishing that I had so that will be in my next order. Need to bezel some of the cabs that I bought first. Amazing store!

Can't wait for you to drop by at the store!

Potomac Bead Company unfortunately with a 6-6 1/2 hour drive, there’s no just dropping by. Wish we had a nice big bead store here in Charlotte. We have a small bead store but nothing in comparison. They don’t carry many of these types of beads so I’ll just continue ordering from you! Until the next long trip up, keep up the great videos!

Oh, that is indeed a long drive out there. We would love you to shop on our website instead ^_^ and hoping you can share your work on our fb page.

Like the series idea. Consider a talk about different cording materials as well as silk threads. When they are good choices; when to avoid.
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Linda, we do have an episode coming up in a few weeks on bead weaving threads and stringing materials.

Really great info! Have wondered how interchangeable are a lot of the shapes. I know Nib Bits are available elsewhere, but are the rest of the shapes exclusively available from Potomac? TFS
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle, none of these particular shapes are Potomac exclusives, but we do tend to stock almost every shape available on the market. Probably no other sites have all of them. In terms of interchangeability, that really depends upon the pattern or design. Sometimes you can certainly use a number of these in place of others by simply changing the size of the surrounding beads. Other times perhaps only a small or large shape will fit. I hope that makes sense?
@MichellesHandmadeCreations6 жыл бұрын
Yes, make sense. I’ve used Superduos in place of Rullos a few times and have changed the seed bead sizes. Gonna have to get some Rullos sometime though. TFS

Great start to this new video series! I love the comparisons and product spotlights that you do. I had not thought of swapping out one type of bead for another, I just follow the pattern given. The videography of your intro was superb, but I think the close up of the beads looked a bit faded and washed out. Maybe a lighting issue? I look forward to watching the upcoming videos. I would like to see one on various types of chain.
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this very detailed comment, Jeanne. Noted for the lighting concern, we'll make sure to improve more our tutorial videos. Happy beading.

Great video! Maybe there is one and I missed it, but a video on the different types of thread (miyuki, ko, fireline, ect) and the best things to wax them and what they are all best for. Xx

Here is one from a few years ago, but we will be going over threads again (with some of the new arrivals) in episode 4: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYvRkH-bmbxnm80

Auto rosary?
@pearlbubbles68856 жыл бұрын
Potomac Bead Company Hi the rosary that's hung from the car rear view window. Thankyou
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
Is that any different from a regular rosary?
@pearlbubbles68856 жыл бұрын
Potomac Bead Company Hey yes 10 beads, 5 each side, with a clasp to open to put on rear view mirror in car, some people make for door knobs too.
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
I would suggest just looking at our existing rosary videos, then modifying it to suite that application.
