Thank you for this starter kit video. I wish there was one like this when I first started beading. This is a great video to brush up on starting new projects and designs.

Thank You for info . I am not anymore beginner ,been beading some years but I find these videos very informative , good way to brush up your memory . I went to check starter kit ,which I wish would have been around when I started . Who ever is at start of their beading adventure kit is great buy ,trust me I wasted tons of money trying to figure what I actually need and quality . Quality of supplies is more important some ways as your skill . If stuff you use is so and so ,even best have hard time to make memorable pieces you can be proud years to come . Like in everything you get what you pay for . Good quality beads might cost more but you do not waste your money . I so wish I would have known everything I know today about supplies and I am sure so would be my hubby who pick the bill from my hobbies . :P

I agree with you 100%, Solie! - I wish I had information like this starter kit video when I first started beading. Like you, I spent a lot of money on beads and beading materials trying to figure out just what I wanted and/or needed to get started. I also think that the Thread Zap is a very useful tool to be included in a beginner kit. Trying to cut Wild Fire or Fireline thread is NOT easy.

This was a very good beginners video. Wish I a had this when I first started beading. I can't say that I wasted money, because all beads get used sooner or later, but I sure spent a lot and I started out feeling discouraged. This video is going to help prevent that. I am hoping you will have a "how to organize your beads and tools" video. When I start a new project I dread it because I am so disorganized that I spend the whole weekend just trying to find the right beads.

"How to organize your beads and tools" is a very good suggestion, Rhonda. Glad you like this video. Thank you.

Thanks my beading supplies are such a mess and i can't find anything. Feeling like selling it all. It's upsetting. I had brain surgery and I can't function when there is no order. It's been really super hard and confusing. So, i should seperate by item, not ccolor or size. I have alot of products so I appreciate your better beader episodes. Very informative. Thanks Allie. I will be saving for a kit. Disability limits my funds. I do love making jewelry.

Hi Laura, you should sort in the order you search for beads. If you go by size and then colour, sort them that way. Here's a good tip to help you get organised. Sort by Category first. So a large box for Findings, another box for Needles and Threads, A big box for Beads. And one for Miscellaneous. If you have lots of beads, simply make two category boxes, Beads 1 and Beads 2, etc. In each of those Category bigger boxes, you sort into smaller containers by type. Say, Beads: Seed beads. Crystal beads. Shaped beads. Round glass beads. Big beads. So you need a crystal rondelle? First choose the big box labelled BEADS. Inside look for the box marked Crystal beads. Does this help? Try to use clear containers for the smaller ones so you can identify it without having to open it. It's all a gradual process, but if you make Categories first, everything in that box has to fit the category. Already things are easier! 😍
