It's a metaphor for Jimmy, because he sees something that has a sign saying "Don't push, leave on" and he has to break the rules... He can't help him self. He sees a rule and he must break it. It's who he is.

Chuck's words hurt him so much in S1 because up to that point Jimmy honestly believed he could change. We later see the moment he decided to join the law and he had genuinely pure intentions because he loved and admired Chuck. So Chuck's betrayal and stinging words shattered that motivation and began Jimmy's spiral into rebellion against the world.

The switch at the end of the episode symbolizes the contrast for how Jimmy was when the series began to where he finds himself now in the present. At the beginning of the episode, he saw a sign indicating that the police would be notified if he opened the door, while the sign at the end of the episode warned him to never turn off the switch. Both instances foretell a bad consequence for his actions if he proceeds. The difference is that younger Jimmy is reckless and doesn't care about any consequences for his actions and will push buttons and break the rules just to see what happens, while modern Jimmy is terrified of doing anything out of the ordinary or bringing any attention to himself. It emphasizes how he was then to how he is now.

Charlize Theron has been acting nearly 30yrs. She was in the "Devil's Advocate" with Al Pacino & Keanu Reeves in 1997. Also in movies like "Italian Job" in 2003, and won an Oscar for Best Actress for the movie "Monster" in 2004

Great episode. I think Jimmy enjoyed scams because he got some sort of 'retaliation' on people whom he felt deserved them for underestimating him; Kim, who always respected him and saw how clever he was, may have enjoyed the way he played Ken as that way she saw him (Jimmy) truly happy and invested, which is why she also got involved and enjoyed who *she* was with him. That's the way I see it, anyway.

Charlize Theron ethnic background: The Second Boer War military leader Danie Theron was her great-granduncle. She is from an Afrikaner family, and her ancestry includes Dutch as well as French and German. Her French forebears were early Huguenots in South Africa. She grew up on her parents' farm in Benoni, near Johannesburg.

I always thought at this point the switch meant that he thinks he maybe does not have to decide whether to be Jimmy or Saul. But that he could be both and switch between them. Trying to combine both worlds. Which ultimately wouldnt work though.

IMO, I think this is one of the most important episodes of the entire show. The writters pretty much grabbed you by the shoulders and screamed right to your face the entirety of the show but it's impossible to see because, at this point, we lack context. Rewatching this episode it's incredible satisfying

Interesting, what about in the early 2000s or in the 90s did they use to have them? Because not only was the show made after Breaking bad which was made in the early 2000s but this show is supposed to be way before breaking bad so the years would have been set years earlier so have there ever been a Cinnabuns place?

Jimmy tried to lure Kim into his way of life, but only succeeded for one night. He wants Kim in his life more than he wants his scams -- so when she went back to being a responsible lawyer, so did he. The real question is: Was he right in that conversation in the bar, explaining why a place like Davis and Maine wasn't a good fit for him? Only time will tell ... but his interaction with that switch in his new office gives us a good hint of how things might go.

Great episode. I feel like up to this point Jimmy was a lawyer just to get Chuck's approval ... and now that that's over, he's switched to being a lawyer just to get *Kim's* approval. And the switch was certainly a metaphor, but I think it's a metaphor about Jimmy being unable to resist "breaking the rules."

I think the reason Jimmy goes back for the job at Davis and Main, is the same reason he became a lawyer in the first place - Kim. He's obsessed with her, and he realizes that no matter what they get up to, she will always have this other life that he doesn't get to share. He wants to be part of every aspect of her life.

I interpret things a little differently with Jimmy and Kim in this episode. It starts by him asking her about the Davis and Mane job, and whether or not that will effect their relationship. She says no, so he leaves. Then he tries showing her his Slippin Jimmy side, and she liked it. For a night. But when she doesn't show up the second night, he realizes despite what she said at the beginning, she can't be with Slippin' Jimmy in a serious relationship. So he sucks it up and takes the job to fit the mold he thinks he needs to keep her around.

"My brain is trained for lazier writing" wow, honestly 100% with you on that one, very well said. The writing, plotting...etc, is so good, this is why i say that this show is as good as, or even possibly better than Breaking Bad (though we all agree that the subject matter, tone, characters are different., there's a lot more comedy...etc). This show doesn't meander, and doesn't have pointless conflict, everything has meaning and purpose. Excellent discussion at the end. Plot should honestly always be integrated with character revelation/development

I suppose it is a bit of a spoiler to say a current small character is your favorite, when it implies they do more in the show. But it still doesn't say what all he does. He could be a cool villain or a morally grey character, or he could do something cool. You don't really know why people like him.

I just saw your reaction to Kenobi the other day It was kinda weirrd to be honest Because I recognize you are actually starwars fans But you overall liked the show. Had a very different experience, when I saw it. Eric was kinda critical sometimes, but all in all it felt weirrd, that you don´t have lot´s of stuff to complain about. Writting, Plot holes, stupid characterisation and on and on.. I hope you don´t agree to every bs put in front of you. That´s kinda boring. Didn´t notice this tendency before, because BCS is pretty much a perfect show, so there isn´t much to complain about. Also Kim is my favorite too, and I guess pretty much everyone loves her. The actor ís doing so good it´s just great!

To answer your question. Yes, the Hummer as we knew it was discontinued in 2010 but then it returned as an ev. and as a few other variations. The Hummer EV is a radical departure from the gas-guzzling Hummer brand that was discontinued in 2010. The all-electric vehicle is a reimagining of one of the most iconic American off-roaders of the past century. The Hummer EV SUV has a starting price of $96,550 and can produce up to 11,500 lb-ft of torque. The Hummer EV pickup has a starting price of $96,550 and can produce up to 1,000 horsepower.
