You should release a playlist / album on KZbin or anywhere else that has some the songs you made. The basic examples like these sound so awesome! If you are already doing something like this, i was simply unaware, but i still wanted to throw the idea out there.

HUGE TRANSITION!!! its amazing how you don't need a whole heap of layers to create variation in the song with the SAME chords. I find it hard to make the DROPS sound big

make the breakdown or build-up sound less exciting, or raise the volume of the drop or just stack more layers.

Hey Alex, I recently made the switch from logic to FL studio and have been struggling to figure out how to properly use the software. I learned how to use logic from some older videos you did where you recorded the entire process of making a song from scratch and you would show and explain how to use the software as you went. These were longer videos, but they helped a ton and I was just wondering if you could possibly do the same for FL studio?
@anthonynatan3 жыл бұрын

kzbin.info/aero/PLDhUODcit3B6bAaKImZBkUHyotf54nPJU (fl studio basic course, idk if all videos have English subtitles) kzbin.info/aero/PLDhUODcit3B7_EMvtV2zR6u1iBpYW2hWb (FL studio advanced course, only in Spanish :c) I think these tutorials have English subtitles. Since I'm Spanish I'm learning form this guy called Olbaid and I've learned so much from him
@jaylackovic83412 жыл бұрын
@@anthonynatan yeah, but I think the general consensus is that his tutorials are simply explained, cognitive and free of extraneous information that's not necessarily needed at the time. I mean, of course, I totally agree with you. There's endless amounts of videos on FL studio. But I can remember back 23 years ago when I started with music production having to scrub through tutorial videos that often times are very complicated and hard to understand but then after spending so much time pausing and reviewing the video and trying it in your rewinding the video again to make sure you got everything right you only find that it's not exactly what you were looking for. And that was my grow up so to speak music production. Endless nights on the internet and KZbin going through tutorials and trying to follow along in my software and spending so much time doing the whole trial and error thing. It was often times extremely frustrating and really took the fun out of it so to speak. Luckily I stuck with it and 23 years later here I am loving music. But I can tell you, at least from my history, that it would have been nice to come across him back when I was starting out. He's just very good at his craft and obviously has a passion for it which is very rare these days. But if you read through the comments all around this video everybody loves his enthusiasm and the videos are very informative but I think more importantly is that it gets rid of a lot of the bullshit that you get in most other videos and more importantly has very high quality information and workflow processes/tips that I have come to learn over the past two decades Plus. As a producer I'm proud of this guy.

I fucking loooooooove your enthousiasm. 😁 It’s so relatable. Btw it’s odd that the verse has more power with that pluckiness than the corus with soft pads. However, one might think it’s the other way around in EDM. Nonetheless it works for this genre. Keep up with the good works. Btw was this chord progressions based on the key of D? I’m wondering, because I can’t place the first bar.. Oops further in the video u changed the notes. That makes this A key. It’s clear now. Pfffieuw. That’s a relief for me.
