Ideal if your mind is full of chatter, worry or stress or if you're feeling restless and just can't seem to settle in bed. Relaxes your mind and body before guiding you down into deep sleep.
A 'Just Tones' version of my Better Sleep For Chattery Minds isochronic tones series. You can either listen to the tones on their own or combine the sound with your own music or nature sounds etc.
► Subscribe to my channel and be updated with my latest tracks:
www.youtube.com...
How this sleep track works
With most of my isochronic tones tracks for sleep, the initial part of the track focuses on trying to get you down into a deep sleep state as fast as possible. However, when your mind is super active, thinking, stressing, worrying, constantly going over this and that, you are not in the right mind state to relax, and falling asleep can seem impossible.
So with my better sleep for chattery minds isochronic tones series, the beginning of the track is all about relaxing and calming your mind first and foremost.
The track begins at 9.5Hz in the mid alpha frequency range, where it gradually ramps down (at the 10-minute mark) to 7.83Hz. Which is on the border between alpha and theta. Sometimes referred to as the thalpa range, which is very relaxing and calming. You are held here for another 15 minutes until it reaches the 25-minute mark. Once there, it ramps down much more quickly to 1Hz in the low delta range by the 35-minute mark.
In addition to the isochronic tones, this track also has amplitude entrainment effects embedded into the music. Amplitude entrainment involves a process of distorting the sound to produce vibrations, which vibrate in unison with the frequency of the brainwave entrainment session. These vibrations can sound very hypnotic, making them very effective and ideal for a sleep track like this one.
Isochronic tones produce a stronger and more powerful brainwave entrainment effect, compared to binaural beats sleep music tracks or standard music.
Do you need Headphones?
Headphones are optional and not required for this track to work.
Recommend Headphones For Sleep
Normal headphones are usually very uncomfortable and impractical to use while sleeping. I've had some SleepPhones for over 10 years now and I highly recommend you give them a try.
SleepPhones are specifically designed for use while sleeping, with thin flat speakers that are contained inside a very comfortable headband. You can use them while lying on your side and they also have wireless versions, making them very easy and practical to use.
You can find out more about them here: www.MindAmend....

Oh my gosh! My brain is finally quiet, and I can think strait without meds! Thank you!!! For months now I’ve been struggling, I’m so tired of the constant feeling of thinking, and the echoes of everything I’ve heard throughout the day filling my head and starting panic attacks. now I finally have gotten a break, and can catch up on my homework!

Therapy done for the day, found this, saved onto list for tonight. If anyone has one of those emotional crisis spirals, something I found last week that really helps. There was a fantastic show called Charmed in the 1990s and early 2000s, my favourite character Piper could freeze time with this double hand movement and this noise. Any time I get overwhelmed in a social situation, or even at home by myself of with my husband (who is an amazing, supportive, loving human) I do the hand flick time stop thing and breathe. It works, strangely, my therapist thought it was a darn fine coping mechanism. Love, light, magicks to all.

It might be because you’re performing a real charm. Lol. Nearly every show about magick shows magicians/witches/warlocks using a specific set of hand movements along with a word, verse, or sound sometimes with wands mostly without. Sorry for the brain dump, your comment just connected some dots for me. …Magick is movement + sound…

I just used this to get through a very stressful anxiety filled day. It helped keep me feeling very neutral. When I would not have it going, I noticed my anxiety would start to raise, but with it on I felt more like a pot with nothing in it. No destructive "you can't do this" thoughts. It was just action.

I don’t think it’s this channel. YT does that on their own - even when the video is marked for no commercials. This video work better than any other video I’ve ever found. I have use Randalls, rest and relaxation for many years. Then suddenly, one video that I have been using as my ‘go to’ started having a commercial come on every single night at the 6:02 mark. I just ran this video all night, and I didn’t receive any commercials. I’m not sure how to turn that off. Surely there is a better way than having to pay for another YT subscription.

I've listened to a bunch of your stuff, and I'll try this one tonight. I'm looking for something very specific though. I'm looking for a 10 hr bit that mimics a normal sleep cycle, with or without the alpha waves. I am a hardcore chronic insomniac trying to get off sleep meds, and this kind of thing helps A LOT. Which of your pieces is like that, if any? Thanks ever so much!

Thanks for all your work, found you, few days ago, been listening to your other videos. How can your videos work with headphones, when all other such videos say headphones required? Also without headphones do we need to have volume high enough hear the iso sounds?
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for listening. With isochronic tones, the beat is already formed and created in the audio before you listen to it. Just like how you can hear any beat in normal music without headphones. With binaural beats, the beat is produced in the brain after listening to a different frequency of tone in each ear, which requires headphones. I have an article explaining how isochronic tones work an dwhy they are better and more effective than binaural beats: www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/isochronic-tones/. You don't need to have the volume loud with isochronic tones but you do need to hear it. If your device has a very weak bass sound then you may have to use headphones or an external speaker.

@MindAmend
@MindAmend 2 жыл бұрын
@@mijf1171 Unfortunately, it's hard to determine what might have a positive effect on the vagnus nerve. I've read about one study where they used 1-20Hz and another where they used 10-30Hz, which is a very broad range. It's still seems like a very exploratory area without much to go on at the moment.

Excuse me, does changing the playback speed effect the tones? Thank you for your work.
@MindAmend
@MindAmend 2 жыл бұрын
Yes it does. For example, if the frequency of the tones is 8Hz and you change it to 2x speed, that will change the tones to 16Hz. That would change a tone/beat from the low Alpha range to the Beta range. Which could change the track from being one that relaxes you, to making you more alert and energised. Sometimes it can be fun to experiment like that but you should always be aware that changing the speed will mean the track won’t work in the same way.

While I'll admit it can be an UNCOMFORTABLE transition (been there!) it sounds like perhaps you were able to sleep SO DEEPLY that your mind/body started automatically "doing it's thing" & processing/healing old wounds!👍👍 That is HIGHLY BENEFICIAL! 💖💖💖 ...& again, I recognize at times it can feel INTENSE!! Something that's helped me (& continues to!) is upon waking from dreams like that, I choose to acknowledge & celebrate the fact that I am AWAKE & the DREAM is OVER! (YAY!) INTENTIONALLY using the power to CHOOSE GRATITUDE really can make a difference!

@@robynevans1287 that's an interesting point. You're probably right. I find, it's the deeper, lower frequencies that trigger my night terrors. I wake up SCREAMING. But they're all somehow tied to past trauma.

So I thank you for your response! I experienced LOADS of trauma throughout childhood (& early adulthood too) & I know how VERY INTENSE dreams can be! (GRATEFUL that I now know dreams are a paert of the healing process!) There've been multiple times I was YELLING SO LOUDLY while asleep that one of my kiddos (teens at the time) would come all the way from the other side of our home to check on me & wake me! ...& once while I was still married my husband woke me up from a DOOZIE just AFTER I had managed to kick a hole in our bedroom wall (& broke my big toe) while fighting in my sleep!🤣 (only funny in retrospect!)👀 ...anyway, SO GRATEFUL💖💖💖 that bit by bit I am continuing to heal & release layer after layer! ...& whether you realized it or not, your comment & your response just helped me along the way! So AGAIN , I *THANK YOU* for sharing!🤗💖
