I don't post often but I have to here. I was in the IDF I've never seen it ever. That's probably why you can only find it with one distributer. The IDF issues a wool blanket a sleeping bag and a tent half.

as a U.S. Army Veteran i will stick with my Army issued Woobie. this looks like a pretty nice item however old habits die hard and my woobie and i have a lot of history.

I use Wobbies for warm weather deer hunting. It's perfect to tie to the cot and have that as the only cover.

Sorry guy, I can’t separate from my woobie. As I’m currently in mobilization training. My woobie fits a twin bunk perfectly. Silky smooth and has the magic of keeping you warm yet cool at the same time. Packs up small. Dries fast. Makes a halfway decent sleeping bag. I have 2 woodland ones. Can’t beat $3 and likely a free digital one once we fully change over to OCP. Maybe if you compare the two. I may consider the IDF one.

I lived in Israel, and that leaves me surprised. Light-brown would be more appropriate for concealment there than this dark woodland green.

Canadian poncho liner beats the American. It's pretty much the same thing but there's a zippered piece that opens a head hole to wear it with the poncho, it has a zipper to close it up like a sleeping bag and a drawstring to close around your head when using it as a sleeping bag. It's really just an Improved woobie but actually improved. Not like how the military just calls everything new, "improved" lol

Comparison video please! I have five woobies and they flex more than that Israeli blanket did. Only my usgi woodland woobie is close to being that heavy - the rest are really thin.

Nice blanket but the Ozark Trail packable blanket is 60 by 70 and it's a little cheaper at $15 and it does exact same thing I've had it down into weather is cold is 35 and it still kept me pretty warm it wasn't useless but it wasn't the best

Its suppose to be a line, how does it attack to Israeli poncho, how does it work as poncho liner, have you slept with it, how was its comfort threw out the night, is it worth the value, specially if you need to add attachment points.. stuff like that. Oh is it very flammable, some companies materials are very.

Why do so many people put vids up when they dont have content? No testing, no anecdote about how it performed or the conditions used in. Its all just hey look at this thing i bought. Bushcraft and/survival should be about making due with what you have and can get not consumerism and hording of multiple items of the same for your kit; that dosnt apply to bartering if you are going to hole up in a good place.

Nylon fabric is imitation silk. That's what you want. This Israeli surplus blanket is made of polyester plastic fabric which is common cheap stuff that does not have the silky compressible properties of nylon. So its basically knockoff junk you got swindled with.

I wouldn't mind seeing a comparison, but they're both greatly inferior to other products available. While the Kifaru Woobie is more expensive, it's completely unparalleled by other woobie options available. If you ever get the chance to check one out Luke, you will ditch the rest without hesitation.
