Good job. I was actually thinking of buying PCI skirts for an EF Civic or something and modifying them to fit but then I'd have to either modify or replace the flares because it would look odd without the transition piece.

I was doing the same, checked cars with similar wheel bases that were available At the end of the day youd have to modify whatever you got soo much it was easier to start from scratch

Trust me i know lol I used those prior on the mk2 with a little trimming But the 24.5 ate into them lol and they weren’t low enough

Love those wheels another great video, quick question… where can I find out the size of the 04 R32 front axles?? I want to know if I have to change the front axels for my 18 GT manual swap or will the R32 axels fit the Passat GT

I really have no idea I imagine they will be way different When you get everything in the car you might want to order 2-3 axles and try them out. Send back what doesn’t fit

@@SmithsEuro bro I know it’s late but I had to thank you again, I bought a bootleg Passat GT axel (under the VW part number) and it bolts up to the 04 R32 MT with no issues it’s the same size and fits the spindle!!! Thanks again my project is moving along!! Thanks again!!!!
