Damn bro just absolutely awesomeness I just had my 02m rebuilt with forks and a wave trac, I would have loved to get these KPtuned goodies. Shop told me that the I didn’t need to upgrade 4th gear fork on my r32 transmission is that true?? I wish your shop was close I need help installing Nys trans and bevel box on my 3.6L no shops I can trust over here

Usually people only do the 1-2 forks on the 02m i believe. Im not as familiar with them, FFE in NY is the place to talk to if you’re really looking into building those trans

V2 gears look way different from v1. Might have to get a backup set now. Aka the new daily mk2 is getting a dogbox.

Ive had V2 installed since mid june And have been abusing them without a hiccup. With the strain as well The gearset was way easier to install vs V1 barely any mods to make clearance.

If you ordered from kptuned and gave him all your details You should be able to hit the key and it fire up I believe buying directly from him you get 1hr tuning time I believe. Just get your car running right before starting to tune

Took a bit to get used to but now I wouldn’t switch to anything else. So nice being in the lanes and have to change something I forgot to and can do it right off the dash

No, i tried a few honda cables and they weren’t any better The best option is to find a proper hydraulic conversion But again, many companies put out junk. I used 2 different companies on my rabbit vrt before making my own because they flexed the firewall badly

@ exactly. I’m doing a Tdi swap in a mk1 and haven’t seen any good options for the clutch situation. Bought swap mounts and they were junk. Not expecting much better for the clutch deal so I’ve been debating making my own that’s over built over buying someone else’s. The more I dig into it the more I’m convinced I’m going to make my own setup as it can’t be any worse than what’s on the market

Thanks so much for the video! I am looking at building a roof over a skateboard ramp and want to maximize head space. The scissor truss seems to be the most efficient and you are confirming what I wanted to do, which is bolting the scissor truss on each side of the rafters. I am just wondering whether the bolts you have in older and now cut-off 2x4 are actually necessary. Did you do it just in case, or was it needed? Thanks for your feedback!

It was necessary, the bolts hold much more load than screws and keep them there. No spreading/splitting over time like with screws.

I really like using bolts too (vs only screws), but my question was about the absolute necessity (or not) to connect your new scissor cross 2x6s with the old 2x4s that you cut off (not talking about the connection with the rafters that are obviously necessary).

@EdTwoMR you need the bottom ones that would’ve been the previous 10ft roof? I dont think its much but figured wouldn’t hurt. My plan was to cut a perfect triangle and slide into them Then put a board over it But i never got around to it.

Hi, I repaired a 02k gearbox, i just changed the big ball bearing on the end of primary shaft of the gearbox located oposed to the engine. Now, only when I drive gearbox is very noisy. What is the problem? How to fix?
