Haven’t gotten the tuning good enough yet to see temps under real boost Cruising around temps are fine so far. The dbw has been tough tuning

Same way. Just cut downpipe flanges off and build off the stock manifolds like i did

I think they are so low, because of axle clearance with suspension compression. My Eurowise kit is low too.

Yea pretty much. 2100 with me in it. I haven’t had a clean pass yet. Hopefully this coming week ill get it

​​@@SmithsEurowell, my car which isn't a car anymore,has an automatic. That's because its the wife's old 99.5 Jetta GLS with wookie power. Why isnt it a car though? Cause I Smyth'ed it with a Ute kit. 😂 Why is it still auto? So the wife ,or a couple other family members can hop in it and go. But then I heard about this newfangled contraption called a DSG and I figured this would be a cool swp for me. I'd wager between not slinging that torque converter around ,and the better selection of gears it probably feels like 30hp. Haha ,then I could add a turbo 😄 We got this car for her in 01,used it 11yrs and it sat in my garage for 8 before resurrecting it into a Ute. Definitely part of the family, and a project is never really finished to me ,there's always something I want to change up later on. Dsg swap for me is gonna be far off,I want to finish out the body a little more and get some paint on this thing but I can't stop driving it while the weather is good! 😂 Hearing those wookies bounce off buildings as I roll thru town...it's just the best thing to me right now to be able to have pavement rolling under the tires of this thing again. What kept me going thru the whole 3 year project? The wife. She said : you won't finish it. Challenge accepted, I had the biggest 💩 eating grin on my face the day I pulled in the driveway though 😂 (Wait till you're together for almost 30yrs you'll understand 😂 she is supportive of my VW habit though). Never got weighed, pretty close to stock id assume

Would be a little bit nothing crazy 4-6% maybe My setup was pretty stockish and worn out Many have made a lot more with different setups. Intake manifold helps tremendously

@@SmithsEuro Nice. I have full euro intake and T-body. Bored to 2.9 as well. I ended up doing a P&P head job along with DRC 268's. Would love to get it dyno'd

@MyEyeCareTv the euro intake is the biggest hindrance on the setup If you want top end you have to switch to a short runner

@MyEyeCareTv ive never had them or really seen many people dyno them Seemingly they should make power, but will need standalone Where a short runner can be put on a chip car
