I still vividly remember where I was when I first heard STYG over 10 years ago. From that morning to seeing them live with my dad opening for Architects (which is how I discovered Counterparts - that tour was insanely stacked in hindsight) to seeing them not only continue to put out bangers but also be such a positive presence in the community (especially in light of the wildfires), they’re truly second to none in so many facets.

Glad you checked this out! I had heard of them and didn't really know any songs, but a few months ago I did a deep dive into their older stuff. Man I was sold quickly as I was initially impressed by their new songs, but stayed for their repertoire. What do you think of the new album?
