Does it have similar smell to the Steam Deck? Man that screen is gorgeous! Thanks for the video! Most reviews don't cover this. I have chemical sensitivity and had to return the Steam Deck due to this. Looking for a retro handheld to tide me over until Ally 2 / Switch 2 arrives.

My GF's Rp4 pro triggers broke fast. Like 48 hours fast. Her little brothers broke in a week. Plus weird dead pixels that stretched horizontally appeared. Don't even get me started on retroid's shitty customer service. We waited a month for a reply and another week for replacement parts. Along with thermal issues.

It would be nice if companies that launch handhelds like these have a Linux and then an Android version. Anbernic did it for the Arc which was silly. They should think about it for higher devices.

Android is infinitely more customisable, and you can do a lot more, but the setup process is tedious, and will push away a large portion of the community just like OP here. First, you have to install your frontend, which is the interface that you interact with, then you have to assign each platform to their own individual emulators. Stuff like that are hard for newbies and people who don't have much time. As for Linux, most of the time, it is just plug and play. Some setup for QoL are needed, but overall straight to the point.@@drumyogi9281
