From a French dude, thinking about Jay and listening to his music more than 10 years after he passed... RIP Jay, I'll forever miss you. It broke my heart back then, and it still does today. You died way too young man...

STILL makes me sad to think that he's gone. Losing Jay was as bad as losing a family member.

Somebody hurt him really really bad. Thank god he processed it and turned it into something beautiful. You have helped me a lot, Jay. Also fuck whoever hurt you. Hope someday they have a soul.

I wouldn't say it's dead, bands like the Wavves and Nobunny are still putting out music... is that what punks think of us hip-hop heads? Well, I don't care, rap is my favorite genre, and I think it will remain that way. My favorite artist of all time is Jay though. Hip-hop will never die, it keeps progressing. It's one of the easier genres to maintain stable and healthy.
