I saw them on one of the very last dates of that final tour, it was fucking phenomenal. My friends & I met him that night & got a pic with him. He was super humble & nice. A few weeks later he was gone…. I still remember getting the text when I was at work. It sounds lame but I walked out to my car & cried hysterically….

It's seriously heartbreaking to see him just beaming talking about his plans to branch out into indie rock and metal after punk, with the intention of conquering all those genres. Considering his work ethic and talent, along with that ambition I have every confidence him and the reatards would have had every corner of the music industry on LOCK, and they would have had a blast doing it. Tragic.
