I have both. RS3M feels heavier than the Solar S, and the turns are not as smooth. The difference is so significant that I kinda regretted purchasing the RS3M when I thought it would be better.

my brother bought the Solar S3M and the center caps come out very easily when dropped or turning aggressively. It is also very clacky and flimsy but the cornercutting is very good.

Don't worry. You got more than what you paid for. I'd still recommend the RS3M over the Solar S. Newer =/= Better The video alone has proven how DianSheng views its production quality; getting the Center Caps to pop out TWICE is definitely a not a good sign.
