I was born 1971 and literally grew up with all that 70s Motown Sound like Stevie, Commodores, MJ and Jackson Five and all the others .. For my opinion that was real Music back in the Days in the 70s, 80s and 90s .. This Track now from Mars/Paak is absolutely amazing after such a long time .. To bring back that 70s Vibe in such a good and perfect way deserves Attention and Respect. And both are great Musicians , Singers and Performers .. as we can see in this Grammy Performance .. i guess this Tune will reach the Top of the Charts all over the World very soon .. Entered the UK Charts directly on 20 .. more to come .. UPDATE: its on 4 in the US Charts now !!

This is how true musicians sound. These guys were performing live in bars long before any record deals came along. You can find videos on KZbin of both Bruno and Anderson singing live in small settings with no more than a few instruments. Always sound as good if not better than their recordings.

Your part about the simple choreography from 5 Heartbeats was on point, and you can definitely see they had MAJOR 70s influence with that. This was definitely a 10/10 performance. I think you said "they did the least" or something when it came to choreography. You saw Bruno's Apollo special and on "Calling All My Lovelies" his band's back-up singers/dancers (The Hooligans) did choreography ALL THE WAY THROUGH that song, which fit perfectly. That's the exact same routine they did nightly on the 24k Magic tour for 3 years (or whatever). Look at that again whenever you get a break. Going back a long way he -- and maybe Phil who is no longer in the band -- always meticulously included choreography. I know they weren't originally scheduled to appear on Grammy's and also didn't expect to do a Little Richard Tribute, so maybe it was timing. I think they had only two weeks. I knew people would notice it looked incomplete or careless. Anyway ish happens, but he's still my favorite and being exposed to Anderson for the first time is amazing.
