I don’t believe we deserve God’s blessing but I believe God is full of grace and mercy. That He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

Thank you so much for sharing this, and I understand as well. Saying we are deserving though, is in fact coming from a place of humility, rather than pride. As sons and daughters of God we can consider ourselves deserving, along with acknowledging God's grace and mercy. God keeps reminding me of Joseph's story lol. He was faithful and honored God in everything he did, and God brought him to a place of honored and blessed in a manner where he could bless others❤
