This was awesome. My son pulled 31 years in the Navy as a medic for one of the Seal Teams. He retired and moved back home and now volunteers to get Veterans to appointments or anywhere they need to go. I am so proud of him. I love that you and Alyssa are so interested in this. Great job guys.

My Dad was a WW2 VETERAN and many uncles and cousins . we kids were all members of VFW clubs. My brother cooked every Sunday for them. Very touching guys. Thank you for donating . These people really appreciate that donation. ❤❤❤

Hi Mike and Lyssa that is so awesome. My brother was a Veteran served in Vietnam and my youngest son is in the Air National Guard and went to Iraq. Makes my heart happy. I know they appreciate it so much. Love this. And the history. Love the quilt it is beautiful. Great looking breakfast. That's nice you got to have breakfast with them. The murals are beautiful. I have to comment. I am a recent widow of a Vietnam veteran and the V.A. here in my area really treated him with so much love and respect. Than they helped me after he died. I love the V.A. and all of the members. The war brings them all together and they all need the support. Thank you for showing the check giving to the V.A., it made me cry. This is a great video including the music. One of my favorites💯❤‍🩹 God bless you all. 🙏

That was a great video. You could see the guys at the veterans post were so greatful for the donation and for your visit. Mike snd Melissa that was a very very good gesture. I am a Rhodesian Veteran from 1979 which was in Africa. So when I see this it always brings a tear to my eye when I see kindness like this. Even though I am not an American Vet, I am still a retired Soldier and this fills my heart with happiness to know that there are still kind humble folk in this world. Wonderful video 😃 You guys had a crazy busy August, as always, helping your framily. Looking back, it's amazing that you found any time at all to work on the shouse,. I'm loving the colour Lyssa chose for it. For some reason, when you were in the DIY store a few weeks back, I assumed the black paint was for Talkn and Jacob's room, and thought nothing of it, as when my son was 12, he wanted his bedroom painted black (a wish that went unfulfilled), but now I see its fir the outside, its going to look incredible 😃 Loved the interview and tour at the VA Post. Its very similar to our Royal British Legion organisation in the UK. A very worthwhile cause.💕

Michael: when cutting down trees, you have been making your back cut too low. After you make the "V", cut the back cut about half way up the V to make the tree fall in the direction of the V, If you cut too low, the tree will fall in the direction of the most weight (how it is leaning).

Commander spoke the truth about getting the younger ones involved. Our local just lost its charter because of this. The older generation gone and some of the younger generation fighting to survive. So no participation.
