Steve "Thank you " for having Charles as a guest just a phenomenal show. Truly inspiring for me Charles your passion is still strong after the many years of capturing light. Would have loved to have been there to see your excitement when you were done capturing this scene and to give you a high 5. You knew it was good and it is what I love about taking photos. As a former coach teaching the ability to know 3 steps ahead as to what's going to happen next was what I enjoyed. My new goal is to capture a Charles Glatzer "My names not on it photo ". 36 minutes on is priceless both Steve and Charles shared many great tips! Thank you both! Larry

An extremely informative discussion. So much better than the 5 or 10 tips videos out there. I learned a great deal and have a new found appreciation for the professional photographers.

Steve and Charles thank you for an amazing, informative discussion today. As an aspiring wildlife and nature photographer myself this opened my eyes to so much! Charles saying set your exposure for where you want the picture to be made my mind go "wow!!" I picked up my camera in 2019 after a 15 year hiatus, feel like myself again. I am pushing myself to become what I wanted to be a long time ago. Its shows like behind the shot(and others) that keep me inspired and push me on those rough days. Thank you!

Hey Scott! So glad you enjoyed the show, and I agree, there were moments where Charles would saying and my mind started thinking about how could use that knowledge right away. Love his work, and his mindset or approach so much.

Great show again. When I watch a vid like this I always hope to walk away with one good tip. Your analysis of the photo was so detailed & very educational as was the meter for where you think the subject will be next. You & your guest never fail. Thank you. For me with wildlife in changing light, it is always Auto WB &, Auto ISO.

Thank you Ted! So glad you enjoyed it, and I agree. His whole system for planning where the animal will be was so eye opening.

Critique vs criticism comment - big yes. I would also add that wildlife photography is still an art form and not science. So there is a significant subjective portion to this as well.

I agree. Almost all photography can be approached as a documentary / journalistic endeavor, which in and of itself is art by the way, or created from a pure art point of view. The divisions can be due to choice, or job requirements. Thanks for watching!
