#3 is the principle that toxic families count on to keep abuse secret. I would rethink this one.

#3 REALLY sucks! My family is ALL toxic! Attempts to unalive me started at age one month w a broken neck. Or-- crippling me 3x-- starting at age 2. I'm a psychologist & have treated children who grew up in unspeakable abuse. Some became catatonic. I also treat women who have been decimated by toxic men. Why is it assumed the majority of the time that families are loving? Quite the contrary! Going no contact yrs ago was a Godsend for me. Illnesses caused by my extraneous stress all were gone in a few months. If u have a toxic family-- break contact w them! I know it's hard. Start by just calling & texting them. Eventually u will be able to go no contact. You' ll be pleasantly surprised at how good you'll feel! Be prepared for smear campaigns. Families also have a lot of flying monkeys! U have to learn not to respond or engage w them. I"ll get off my soapbox now! TY to the other commenter who also disageed w #3. Whoever puts these videos out should really go over the material more thoroughly!

#3 you probably meant to say, boyfriend and girlfriend, relationship type situations… Because when you inform your family and friends about your one-sided version of what’s going on between you and the person that you’re dating it, content their view of that person when you’re in a bad mood and then when you guys are getting along, they’re still gonna look at the person is the bad guy… I’m not even saying that to be true though either because technically anything that you need to have as a secret is always going to come to life. No, it’s not your place to discuss anyone else’s business however, if the business has anything to do with you at all, I think you should stand on the mountain top and shout it loud. Anything done in the dark will come to light and eat at you from the inside out it does not feel good to hide and need to keep secrets. 8:09
