It's CRUE TRIME time!! This week's video is the story of The Redhead Murders. The early to mid 1980s was a dangerous time to be a redhead, friends. There was a string of still-unknown redheads being murdered on a busy trucking route in the bible belt, and the killer was never officially found. I think we may have a strong lead, but you'll have to watch and see!

"The Buckskin Girl", because of the buckskin poncho she was wearing, when she was found off of 75 in Ohio in 1981 was thought to be a part of the redhead murders for a time. She was eventually identified as Marcia King thanks to DNA in 2018. She was a beautiful redhead from Arkansas.

There is a Crue Trime that happened when I was in High School involving a Mother, son, daughter and the daughters boyfriend. I went to school with all 3, just at 2 separate schools. It happened in Holly Pond, in the county of Cullman AL. The boyfriend's name is Tommy Brown Jr, the girlfriends name is Deanna and I forget her last name. It happened around NYE late 80s early 90s. It has twists and turns like crazy. As a matter of fact, Tommy Browns uncle and friend abducted one of my uncles and took him to a place called Blount Springs, robbed him and killed him.

FINALLY. I've been hoping someone would cover these. Yes, it was a terrifying time to be a redhead.. That was the only time in my life I seriously considered dying my hair.. I was a young redhead living on my own for the first time, in Knoxville, when this was going on. I remember my daddy calling several times and begging me to move back to my hometown. It was a crazy time. I developed situational awareness patterns of behavior that I still have today. I can't help but think if we had the internet access, like we have today, that he'd have been caught.

Great job! I hate when they go unsolved, it's as if these souls were insignificant and didn't matter. Not blaming anyone...the investigators probably did the best they could with the resources they had at the time. However, there still remains a strong sense of sadness for the unnamed women....as if they were just discarded objects. In college in 1989 I presented a research paper on serial killers and was practically laughed out of the room. Nobody could believe that the FBI estimated about 50 active at the time. I guess I get the last laugh, and I hope none of those oh so smart kids are buried in a cornfield somewhere!

I remember hearing radio reports of headlines when the kids in Elizabethton helped make some of the connections. This is terrifying, I'm a redhead, obviously, I grew up outside of Chattanooga TN. I even lived for a small time in Cleveland TN in the late 80s early 90s. A man fitting that description but driving a white van tried to attack myself and my mother after spotting us from the road between our house and our neighbors. I was playing in one of those plastic pools and my mother was laying out. I remember seeing him standing at the front of our house with his back to us. I quietly told my mother and we ran into the house through the back door. He heard us and chased us but we luckily made it in and locked the door before he reached us. Our neighbors across the street just so happened to see it happening and chased the man off with a gun. Police never found him. I had not heard of this case before now. This gives me chills 😳

I only say this because I am a fellow redhead: dyeing my eyebrows with box hair dye has changed my life. I mix the color and developer (keep and seal back in their separate containers for future dyes) in a shot glass and use a mascara brush to dye my eyebrows. It’s a real game changer to not have to fill them in every day! I used to have white-blonde eyebrows! How do you not get the skin? Anytime I try it looks cray cray cause the skin gets dyed too. :/

@@emb_ivy try putting a balm/petroleum jelly on the skin around the brows before you start

@@emb_ivy I take a Q-tip and clean up around the edges after I’ve applied the dye! Also, I’ve found that the 98% rubbing alcohol works WONDERS if it gets on your skin. You can also rub it in the eyebrows after a few hours and it’ll just remove the dye from the skin but not the hair itself!

it’s best to use dye meant for eyebrows. the ammonia and other fumes in regular box dye are really harsh on the eyes and the box specifically says not to use it on facial hair for this exact reason
