He mentioned the biggest, easiest earner in his shop was the wretched FOBT's. They ruined it for shop punters - blow what you like in them but you can't gave £100 on a horse without them phoning it through and likely refusing it. Those things need rounding up and setting fire to, get back to your real business.

Totally agree. The amount of people I see shouting and swearing at the fobt's in the bookies because they've obviously done their brains in is unreal. They should never have been aloud to put the dreaded things in their to start with.

Wish Barry well not sure I quite agree he took on anyone he certainly didn't in the early 2000s at Lingfield but regardless at least he always paid up

My Cousin gave J.P. M a taxi ride in Cheltenham he handed him a £100 tip and told him to put it on Flagship Uberalles my Cousin didn't gamble so unfortunately didn't .

Was at Windsor one evening and asked him for 200 @7/2 he told me "bugger off". Not and never was a bookie.
