All media on TV, it's a FARCE
@125sloth
@125sloth 3 жыл бұрын
@@VCanisMajorisY Very true. And some are supposed to be trained "journalists" but are simply "commentators". Anyone could do the job. Look at Sky Racing. What an unprofessional group of wankers they employ. And look at Harness Racing with "commentators" like over excited Chris Barsby. Arguably the worst caller ever. At least David Fowler had enough brains to go across to gallops full time. As for media on TV in general...yep a farce. Look at breakfast TV on all networks to see the lack of talent. Even the ABC has gone downhill. I thought when Virginia Trioli left to annoy the morning radio audience in Melbourne, her replacement Lisa Millar would be a breath of fresh air. To be fair, she was at first, but is now just another ABC patronising "presenter". Not as bad as know it all Trioli, but Jesus, has she gone backwards.

Barney was so crooked he had to screw his trousers on every morning, but he was an extremely generous man who gave away his mansion in Ireland to a homeless charity and never broadcast his many acts of kindness because he didn't do it for the kudos, he had a social conscience that is anathema to the betting industry for which he was a major scourge for decades. Much missed by so many people grateful for his generosity; he had a big heart and we will never see his like again. Rest in peace Mr curley.

The guys was a legend for the way he beat the system, but it’s still out of order the way that he basically accuses the others of being cheats, when that’s exactly how he also made his money. Robin Hood was a legend too but still a cheat

Barney Curley and John McCririck were both big gamblers ( Curley is actually famous for some very big betting wins ). The story is that McCririck owed a lot of money to the *wrong* people once and Curley sorted the debt for him. You can see Mac goes very awkward when Curley mentions it. Not at all like his normal act on camera.
