My friend just gave me a set of Speed Metal Ahead sticks, and boy howdy do these feel amazing. I don’t tire out as easily thanks to the VRS, and despite these pair being similar to a 7A, it feels like a 5A. I’m getting a pair of Frank Zummo sticks soon, and I can’t wait.

Beto, a Ahead tbm tem luvas, queria saber se vc pode fazer um review delas. Sempre quis saber se tocar de luva ajuda ou piora o seu grip. VLW.

+lucasmegadeth Lucas, tem, na verdade as as melhores no mercado. Eu usei em 2012 quando precisava passar um remédio nas mãos, mas tinha que estudar, então colocava a luva pra proteger. Eu particularmente n gosto cara, acho que atrapalha, sem falar que eu acho feio, n é minha praia não! O que resolve mesmo o grip é o GRIP TAPE, que vc pode ver nas baquetas que eu to segurando no video!

When you use Ahead stix you have to move the weight and then let the weight take over. When i use them like wood and just go for it they can do damage to heads and cymbals. You have to get used to letting these do some of the work for you. Thats what i noticed.

I really liked these sticks 2 years ago. I had Lars Ulrich version but then I switched back to wood sticks. I really like wood sticks because they are lighter and they are better for funk and jazz IMO.

Bebetto TheNinjaDrummer Great to have a response from a great drummer like you:) I've tried 5A and Lars and yeah they are amazing I admire that. Really durable and actually builds some muscle and helps speed when switched to lighter sticks.I like them when playing Metallica stuff(I hope to play a chronologiy like you do) but not when playing some bluesy things. Great brand but I am a bit traditional:)

Ok the only thing I don't like about these sticks is that they have an INSANE amount of rebound and some people might like that but I don't. Sometimes the tips break off tho and that sucks

Try and find a different sized stick. I’d recommend 7A, which feel like a 5A. If tips break off, replacement tips are available on Sweetwater for a tenth of the original price.

Fala bro! Cara, depende da sua braçada... e do seu rimshot! Mas é incontestável que dura mais! Mas acontece dela quebrar no meio tmb, a própria baqueta, mas é difícil! Quanto ao peso, eu aconselho vc a ir no site e dar uma olhada, pesa a qual vc usa e vai lá caçar uma que seja equivalente! São mais de 30 modelos, tem pra todos! E algumas tem até um tip weight, um peso a mais na ponta, dando outra vibe! Espero ter ajudado bro!

Beto Cardoso tudo bem!! preciso da sua ajuda, meu filho comprou um par desta baqueta que tem alta durabilidade para tocar na igreja, compramos a baqueta em São Paulo - Brasil, no mês de outubro, em novembro as baquetas quebraram, mandamos pra loja (NOISEBOX STORE), eles disseram que mandaram pra fabrica para analise e ate agora nenhum retorno, vc pode nos ajudar!! junto a fabrica, meu filho comprou a baqueta influenciado por você, me disse que ia fazer uma economia boa com esta baqueta, mas pelo jeito só prejuízo e raiva, sabe como é pagamos caro e não usamos direito o produto!! acredito que possa nos ajudar!!
