He may not have been hiding in a dark room. It depends on what time it was there because the whole country after 6 pm, the government shuts off all electricity. Unless they have a generator, they are screwed until ^ am. Their government sells their power to a neighbouring country. I can't remember if it's Ghana or Cameroon.

I dont think this conversation is going anywhere. It may feel like a friendly chat but if their intention is to scam for the lure of easy money, they will continue to do it, if not now, then maybe next week. I dont think such people even if they go to therapy, they will never change for the better. In their minds, it's always about profiting from the other person, in this case, even the therapist!

Scamming is equivalent to thieving. Scammers feel entitled to your hard-earned money because they think we have privileges and opportunities. They hide behind a mask just like a robber. Oftentimes scammers are greedy and scamming is more of a game to see how much money they can extort. They thrive on lies, deceit and manipulation. Scammers are selfish and greedy.

You make it sound like Nigeria is an easy country to live in. It's not like Canada or the States. If they don't know someone higher u,p (which they call a godfather) then they are screwed pretty much. The ones you see there that are rich is not because they worked their whole lives for it. They have been told lies all their life that the Western world is the best place in the world to be. They think it's like the promised land. When i met my bf he had only been in Canada for a few months and he couldn't believe how hard it is to live in Canada. He has a university degree and it means for nothing. He's going back to school to be a P.S.W.

This just shows that their confessions are just bs as well. Many of them are married, have jobs and live in the cities. And they really don't believe that so many people are in dire straits anywhere else. Or they go the racial route and tell me i owe them for enslaving their ancestors. Btw, I'm Finnish, so that is not even accurate. It's all lies, unfortunately.
